  •  Szczesny talks

Arsenal have been linked with a move for ex-keeper Wojciech Szczesny.

His club Juventus could look to sell after signing Michele Di Gregorio from Monza.

  • Striker riddle

Arsenal are stuck with who to sign in the striker position, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Jacbos told Give Me Sport: "I think Arsenal are still stuck deciding on the striker front, but it’s clear that that’s the kind of profile that they’re looking for & they feel is missing.

“Along with Sesko, they’ve considered Ferguson & Gyökeres, but they’ve ruled out Toney. Even though we hear reports about Arsenal moving for Osimhen, the outlay is so severe that nothing is advancing at this stage on that front.

“It’s a long window, of course, but there’s better value & slightly younger profiles of strikers that Arsenal are prioritising at this time.”

  • Race for Isak

Arsenal are the bookies favourites to sign Alexander Isak.

Just last August the Gunners reportedly wanted £30million for the former Celtic hero.

"I still go to Corinthians games by train. It’s my dream, I want to play for Corinthians, I want to feel that energy.

"It’s something to think about. Sometimes I stop and think, 'Do I dream of playing for Corinthians?' I do.

“Of course, I was fortunate to share a dressing room with Mikel Arteta and now he is the manager. We had conversations about that but right now I am not focused on anything other than contributing to this club, Oviedo, and continuing to enjoy football as a player.

“After that, we will see what the future holds for me. It is clear that Arsenal is a club that has always left the door open to me to return. But right now, I have enough on my mind with the play-offs and trying to enjoy the last days of my playing career.”

“I’d say that’s the one thing, maybe Mikel didn’t trust his bench as much. I’m looking at someone like an Alexander Isak or an Ollie Watkins who’s been established in the Premier League.

“We may look abroad but I’m a big believer in someone who is proven in the Premier League.”
