Arsenal's William Saliba has been showing off his extended - and luxurious - pre-season break on social media.

The France defender, as well as England duo Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, is among players given extra time off following Euro 2024.

That means they miss the Gunners' USA tour - with a handful of youngsters promoted to the squad instead.

And Saliba was happy to let his fans know his exotic alternative arrangement!

He posted a photo dump of his travels.

Gunners edge closer to Dan deal

Arsenal are negotiating a fee for Wolves-back-up keeper Dan Bentley.

The uncapped Englishman, 31, is a shock target as cover for the Gunners.

Arsenal were eyeing a £300,000 swoop for the former Southend, Brentford and Bristol City stopper.

But Wolves value the 6ft 2ins Basildon-born ace at nearer £1million.

However, all parties are hoping the transfer can still be completed soon.

Leicester lead Nelson hunt

Prem new boys Leicester have reportedly launched talks on recruiting Arsenal striker Reiss Nelson.

Sky Sports say the Foxes are in negotiations over a loan to be made permanent next summer.

The 24-year-old is on the Gunners’ USA tour.

Nelson is understood to be ready to consider his future.

'No need to copy City' - Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko believes Arsenal can win the title their own way.

The Gunners have been runners-up to Manchester City in the last two seasons.

But although Arsenal left-back Zinchenko believes City are "probably the best team in the world" he insists trying to "copy" Pep Guardiola's short-passing style would be wrong.

The Daily Mail quote the Ukrainian as saying: "I don’t think we need to copy someone like City.

"Of course at the moment they are probably the best team in the world.

"If you look at the stats and titles they have won in the last couple of years, it is amazing.

"You always need to look at the best but not be like them — we need to be on top of them."

Speculation mounts Milan are still Inter Kiwior

Talk of Inter Milan weighing up a bid for Jakub Kiwior is swirling again.

Riccardo Calafiori's looming arrival at Arsenal suggests Kiwior wold face another tough fight to achieve a consistent Prem breakthrough.

And it's claimed tonight that Inter are still keen on the former Spezia defender.

The 26-cap Pole, 24, only arrived at the Emirates from Serie A in January 2023.
