Arsenal have denied claims made by the Spanish press that manager Mikel Arteta has decided to QUIT at the end of the season with Barcelona eyeing him.
Barca boss Xavi stunned the Nou Camp on Saturday by declaring he will leave his beloved club this summer.
According to Sport, La Masia graduate Arteta is in the Blaugrana's sights after supposedly telling those close to him that he is set for a fresh start too.
The Spanish tactician's contract runs until 2025 and the shock reports claimed Arteta is planning an early exit in June after allegedly informing staff around him to prepare for change.
However, Arsenal told SunSport these claims not to be true, with the 41-year-old committed to managing the Gunners.
Bayern Munich are fearful of Arsenal amid the transfer war for Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi.
According to Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk, Bayern are "afraid" of the Gunners in the hunt for Zubimendi who is believed to have a £51million release clause in his contract.
Martin Zubimendi is the No1 target for Bayern in front of Joao Palhinha.
Bayern also heard that Mikel Arteta is already talking to the player. They’re both Spanish as well, which is a big advantage for Arsenal!
Bayern were very sure that they would lead the race for Zubimendi but now that Arsenal are there, they’re afraid of the Gunners and afraid that Mikel Arteta could take this player away, which had been a planned move for the summer.
RB Leipzig are tracking Arsenal ace Emile Smith Rowe, SunSport has learned.
Leipzig would love to take Smith Rowe on loan in January with a view to a permanent switch.
But the Gunners' manager Mikel Arteta is believed to be “undecided” on allowing the playmaker to leave.
Leipzig would love to take Emile on loan. He’s a player they’ve identified who they believe could help improve them and boost their chances of taking them to the Champions League.
But Mikel Arteta is undecided. Emile is not part of his first team plans, but he still thinks the boy could have a part to play in their title charge.
As always a lot of this will come down to the player. If he tries to force a move then the club may have to make a decision because Arteta has always been clear - he only wants players who want to be at the club and fight for their place.
Contrary to reports from the Catalan press, Mikel Arteta has no plans to leave Arsenal.
The Daily Mail say sources close to the Gunners have denied the story that he is to walk away from the Emirates in the summer.
Arteta has a contract until 2025.

Bayern Munich are reportedly concerned that Martin Zubimendi may choose Arsenal over them.
The Germans have been chasing the Real Sociedad midfielder for a while, but are now said to be "afraid" that Arsenal could gazump them.

The Athletic have reported that Arsenal are amongst a number of Premier League teams vying for his signature.
Speaking after his side's victory, Maresca said: "The reason why he was not in squad is because we gave him, Harry Winks and Jannik a rest for Tuesday’s game.

Ray Parlour has said he thinks Arsene Wenger would be happy to return to Arsenal in some capacity.
The former Gunner has claimed that Wenger would be pleased to help Mikel Arteta in any way.
I’m sure if Mikel [Arteta] wanted to have a chat with Arsène Wenger, then I’m sure he’d be up for it because he’s not that sort of man to turn him down.
I’m sure if Mikel phoned him, he’d help him as much as he could towards the end of the season.
