I have one of the world’s most dangerous jobs but people wouldn’t have clue if they judged me by my glam life
MANY of us might feel like we become a whole different person outside of work, but this Scandi woman really does.
Amalie Elea Olin Lundstad might spend her days in overalls, but onshore the twenty-something has a surprisingly glamourous lifestyle.
Ironically though, you’d never know about her intense profession if you looked at her Instagram page.
Dedicated to second job as a personal trainer, Amalie’s life looks incredibly glamourous with endless photos of her at a local gym.
Showing off her toned muscle in crop tops and leggings, it’s hard to imagine her ever breaking a sweat let alone.
With her long blonde hair, sun-kissed tan and gel painted nails, you’d be forgiven for thinking her job was being an influencer or coach.

Time spent away with loved ones is similarly glamourous, with the Scandi woman exploring the stunning Norwegian countryside and share candid selfies of herself relaxing in th bath.
Even celebrating traditional holidays, like the May Day, with the Amalie transforming into national dress, complete with bows and lash extensions.
But, the twentysomething is in fact an oil rig worker.
Whilst it might not be most women’s first career of choice, the content creator spent years trying to break into the dangerous industry.
Initially, she got a degree in Gas and Energy technology but Amalie later had to work as an apprentice technician on a rig.
Eventually, the blonde bombshell landed her dream role onboard a rig in the North Sea, spending two weeks on at a time.
Despite the job being one of the most dangerous in the world, with 1654 injuries and 4000 accidents in the last decade alone, the Tiktoker loves her unusual career.
She even started a page dedicated to this often hidden world, showing snippets of her life – including the arduous task of putting on bulky emergency gear during a shift.
The uniform and danger weren’t enough to contend with, there’s long hours with Amalie working intense 12 hour shifts whilst onboard.
Privacy is also scarce, with the young woman having occasionally ‘hot bed’ and share her sleep space with someone working the opposite shift to her – only pausing between to change the bedding.
Other times, she’ll be lucky and have a cabin all to herself for the two weeks she remains on the rig.
It seems though that Amalie is happiest in overalls and battling sea spray, with her describing it as ‘fun’ despite the dangers.
