Self-made millionaire spends all day in pjs and sleeps until 11am but is still richer than you
THERE are endless books, articles and influencers who all claim to have the secret to success.
However, one former RAF pilot turned multi-millionaire has found a fool-proof way to make money – despite not getting out of bed till 11am.
Whilst most get rich quick influencers will tell people that they need a strict morning routine, if you want to make it in the business world, millionaire Siam Kidd says the opposite.
In fact, this self-confessed ‘slob’ will work in his underpants, has no routine and spends the majority of his free time to computer games and Netflix.
Having left his military career behind him though, Siam became a crypto-trader and claims it is easy than ever for people to be successful slobs thanks to new tech like apps and AI.
The 37-year-old even revealed that most days he’ll barely make it to the kitchen, saying: “There are times when I end up working a lot harder than most people, just so I can be lazy.”

It’s something that the Norwich resident has always done, calling himself a ‘bedbug’ and ‘naturally lazy’.
Even after spending eight years as a pilot in the RAF, he admitted that he still struggled to get out of bed and said: “My brain just won’t turn on for the first five hours of the day.”
Having joined when he was just 18, there was another reason why Siam felt it was time to part ways with the Air Force: money.
“I flew all over the world and I did love it,” he explained, adding: “The thing that made me want to move on is you just don’t make much money in the military. To live the life that I actually wanted, I needed a lot more money.”
Ironically, it was a hobby that he’d picked up in the Air Force that would help turn him into a millionaire.
As he’d been living on a military base, Siam’s living costs had been minimal and it allowed him to begin trading online just after he enlisted.
“I was probably the world’s worst trader for six years. Every month, I blew two grand a month on the markets,” he joked.
Whilst they didn’t make him much money, his early trading did pay off as Siam learnt more about markets – enabling him to buy at Aston Martin at just 23.
It was then that Siam made the difficult decision to leave and pursue his new career, sacrificing his pension just to get out of the RAF.
To make matters worse, the markets took a toll on his investments and within six months, Siam had to find a new job.
“I had to pay the bills so I became an ambulance 999 call handler during the day and then at nighttime, I was pulling pints in a pub as a barman,” he recalled.
He wanted to continue trading, so became increasingly involved in the business community hoping that money from projects could be reinvested into his portfolio.
Though several flopped, the ones that did work help him pursue silver and gold bullion dealing, with the former pilot making £50,000 in his first deal.
In later years, he set up an education community about economics, called the 'Realistic Trader' – which still runs today – and launched Norwich’s first floatation therapy spa.
He even tells others that there has never been a set a business from scratch, saying: “Now we have all of these AI models like ChatGPT that can work for us too.

“The only error people are making is a miss prioritisation of their time. I prioritise being efficient with my time. That’s how I just bought a plane a couple of weeks ago, “ he added.
Whilst you might not be able to reach the same heights as Siam, it is making us rethink how we could make some extra cash.
