Mould warriors come to woman’s rescue with £2 solution to conquer her walls that are so black it looks like wallpaper
A WOMAN has left people stunned after showing how a plumbing leak led to her flat becoming riddled with black mould.
She admitted that she'd been asking her landlord to repair the leak for the past two years, but he'd "ignored" her request.
And due to that, there was barely an inch of wall that wasn't covered in mould.
She began by showing the mould in the front room, before taking the camera into the bathroom.
And once again, the mould covered the wall from floor to ceiling, and had even started to climb onto the ceiling too.
After she posted the video on Instagram, she was inundated with comments from people telling her to "get out" of the property for the sake of her health.

But other comments came from mould warriors, all keen to offer their suggestions to help.
"Use 1 cup borax to 1 litre of hot or boiling water, add a squirt of lemon juice if it crystallises or has trouble dissolving," one person wrote.
"Wait for it to cool and add into spray bottles.
"Spray directly on the mould. Wipe off with a cloth.
"Repeat until it's all gone and do not rinse."
They added: "Also, DO NOT USE BLEACH. It feeds mould mycelium."
While Borax - Sodium Tetraborate Decahydrate - is more commonly used in the US, it can be purchased in the UK for around £2 a bag.
"Tear the drywall out and run a dehumidifier for a week and then maybe, maybe you got 'enough' of the moisture out to prevent future mould growth," another said.
"At that point you can put the dry wall back up and refinish the space...
"The orange spots are scary!"
"Burn everything, there's nothing you can save but yourself," a third said.
While others admitted it had taken them a while to realise they were looking at mould, and not wallpaper.
"That’s wall paper right? THATS WALL PAPER RIGHT?????" one said hysterically.
"Legit thought this was wallpaper," another commented.
"Wow that’s such a beautiful wallpaper," a third wrote.
"Looked like a kind of nice wallpaper at first. Jezuz," someone else said.
"I really thought this was a nice wallpaper at first," another agreed.
"But oh no no no, that is not good.
