Mia McNeal took to social media to show the realities of what filters can do to the face, but everyone agreed she looked far superior with them off.

Most people use filters on social media now, whether it's for better lighting or generally feeling insecure about the way they look.

But the beauty fan has proven that you don't need them and that natural beauty is the best way forward.

In the clip, Mia used the half and half filter, which can show half of your face edited and the other half natural.

The difference in her features was minimal and many agreed she actually looked better without the filter on.

"Life at 51," she wrote, adding 'filter' and 'reality' as she swapped between the two effects.

Her incredible natural beauty left many wondering what her anti-ageing secrets were as she looked much younger than 51.

Mia was quick to respond in a follow up video where she dished out her top three anti-ageing hacks.

She revealed happiness, good sex and the skincare brand Cetaphil were how she maintained her youthful look.

The original clip of the facial filter has since gone viral on her TikTok account @miathecoach with over 3million views and 60k likes.
