MAFS bride Ella Morgan appears to take cryptic swipe as ex JJ Slater goes ‘official’ with Katie Price

MARRIED at First Sight's Ella Morgan shared a cryptic post after her ex JJ Slater went 'official' with Katie Price.

Ella and JJ had an affair on the E4 show and ended up re-entering as a new couple, but things didn't work out for them.

After the show they agreed to be friends, but Ella has struggled to be civil since she found out that JJ has moved on with Katie.

She is said to be "fuming" with Katie for getting to know her ex as the girls had become friends in the last few months.

In a new story on Instagram, Ella shared a quote that read: "You remained genuine in a world obsessed with facades. That's strength."

Katie and JJ were seen "getting close"  in the booth of Bobby’s Bar in Newcastle earlier this month.

The former glamour model then posted a loved-up snap of the pair on her Instagram page with a touching caption.

Katie said: "They say things happen for a reason , the unexpected happened . Fate . Ticks every box .

"@johnjoeslater you have proved to me you are a real gentleman and completely except me for me."

JJ, 33, who shot to fame on the E4 dating show last year, wrote in the comments section: "Fate… thank you so much for being you."

Ella was said to be blindsided by the news that Katie and JJ were dating.

A source said: “Ella is fuming and feels really betrayed by Katie for talking to her ex JJ.

“Ella and Katie have become friends over recent months, so it surprised her that Katie would do that.

“She doesn’t have any feelings for JJ, she’s just livid that Katie went behind her back and broke girl code.”

Katie and JJ - real name John Joe - have been getting close for the past couple of weeks. 

A source previously told The Sun: "They’ve met a few times and are texting each other constantly. She’s really into him - this is the first man she’s actually been interested in since Carl."

Fellow MAFS star Tasha Jay has also spoken out about JJ and Katie's blossoming relationship.

Speaking to Bobby Norris and Ellen Coughlan on FUBAR Radio, Tasha, 25, said: "Katie reached out to Ella before Katie had met JJ. Katie was so lovely to Ella and so supportive and giving her so many compliments, just being a genuine person.

"Then next thing you know she’s got her sloppy seconds. She’s not heartbroken and crying into a tub of Ben and Jerry’s but it was a bit of a kick in the teeth at first. It’s early days and they’re talking about babies and stuff now apparently so I’m just a bit confused.”

Tasha continued: "I do love JJ, we got on like a house on fire when we were filming but I just don’t know. I mean Katie is his type, so he says.

"But my only thing is, the reasons that he didn’t want to be with Ella, Katie does a lot of those things. That’s the one thing that’s confused me."

Katie split for good from on/off fianceé Carl Woods on New Year’s Eve after four years of dating, leaving her single and ready to mingle.

Carl and Katie were even believed to have been planning a secret wedding after reuniting following one split, but the marriage never materialised.
