Eddie Nketiah could be used as bait as Arsenal bid to win the £60million-plus hunt for Marc Guehi.
Crystal Palace centre-back Guehi, who was linked with Manchester United before Euro 2024, has seen his stock soar since his sterling displays in helping England to the final.
And the latest speculation includes the claim the Gunners are willing to offer striker Nketiah in part exchange.
So far West Ham have been rated favourites to land the Emirates academy product.
But the Eagles might be tempted by a potential part-exchange offer from Arsenal - if they believe they can't keep Guehi.
Nketiah, 25, earned his sole England cap last October as a sub in a 1-0 friendly win against Australia.
Bournemouth are expecting Dominic Solanke to stay this summer - despite his £65million release clause.
The striker, 26, drew interest from Tottenham and Arsenal after blasting 19 Premier League goals last season.
Cherries owner Bill Foley confirmed Solanke has a set fee in his contract which, if met, would allow the forward to negotiate a move to other clubs.
Yet the American, 79, said: “I believe Dom is going to be with us this coming year.
“He has a release clause, which is very expensive.
“We shouldn’t reveal anything about the contract but that area (£65m) sounds roughly correct. I guess if someone comes for him, we are going to have to replace him.
“We have two or three candidates that we have lined up. But I believe Dom will be here next year and I believe he is going to score 21 or 22 goals.”
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN is being offered to clubs in Britain by Turkish side Besiktas.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool attacker, 30, may go on loan if the bulk of his wages are covered and he is on the radar of a few back home.
Ex-England ace Ox played 30 times last term for the Istanbul side after arriving in August.
Former Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst was appointed as Besiktas manager in June.
He is looking to reshape his squad with a number of stars up for grabs.
As well as Oxlade-Chamberlain, former Premier League duo Arthur Masuaku and Daniel Amartey could also be sold, as well as Cameroon legend Vincent Aboubakar and ex-AC Milan forward Ante Rebic.
ARSENAL have completed the signing of wonderkid Tommy Setford from Ajax.
The goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
The Gunners reportedly agreed a fee of around £870,000 with Ajax to sign the 18-year-old.
Setford is now set to link up with Arsenal Under-21s following the release of three young goalkeepers this summer - Ovie Ejeheri, James Hillson and Arthur Okonkwo.
Riccardo Calafiori's girlfriend has revealed someone has impersonated her on social media and denied she revealed the Italian has already joined Arsenal.
She wrote: “I am forced to write here that I have no TikTok profile!! Someone is pretending to be me and writing things that are not true!
“This is my only social media account. I have never talked about anything and I never will.
"I kindly ask whoever opened the TikTok profile pretending to be me and writing personal and delicate things, which then get reported as articles in the media, to immediately close the profile, otherwise I will take legal action.”
Italy and Juventus legend Leonardo Bonucci has seemingly confirmed Riccardo Calafiori is headed for Arsenal.
"Calafiori? I'm sorry about his transfer," he said, as revealed by journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
"I would have liked to see him at Juventus. He is a defender who is a little different from what we are used to seeing.
"He plays, he has personality and he fits in. We are exporting a great player who will be a point of reference for the national team for the next 15 years."
