  • Youngster blow

Arsenal are set to lose Amario Cozier-Duberry, according to reports.

The talented teenager will leave the Gunners as a free agent in June when his contract expires, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claim.

Arthur Okonkwo has revealed his delight at signing for Wrexham.

"I’m feeling very good, I’m so happy to have finally signed and I can’t wait to get back to it," he told the club website.

“It was amazing last season. We had so many good memories together with the fans, and knowing they wanted me back was a big reason that I’m back.

"It’s good to finally be here. This is home, it’s felt like that since last season when I came in.

"The co-chairmen are so good, the manager, the coaches, the players, and obviously the backroom staff that you don’t see. It’s so good to be here."

  • Ex-Arsenal star snapped up by Wrexham

And Wrexham have announced the 21-year-old will return to the League One club after spending the season on loan there.

He has signed a three-year deal with the Red Dragons through to the summer of 2027.

Okonkwo will officially join on July 1 when his Gunners deal expires.

Speaking to the club website, the 21-year-old explained: "I’m feeling very good, I’m so happy to have finally signed and I can’t wait to get back to it.

"It was amazing last season. We had so many good memories together with the fans, and knowing they wanted me back was a big reason that I’m back. It’s good to finally be here.

  • Ferdi Kadioglu bid

Arsenal have made a bid for Fenerbahce star Ferdi Kadioglu during the summer transfer window.

According to Ajansspor, the Gunners have offered just shy of £17million for Kadioglu.

However, this is £12m shy of what Fener want for the full-back.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested in a deal, and have offered £21m for the Turkey international who has a contract with them until 2026.

  • Benjamin Sesko has Arsenal on red alert

Arsenal were keen to bring Benjamin Sesko to London this summer.

The 21-year-old scored 18 goals in all competitions last season and Arsenal alongside Chelsea were ready to trigger a £55m release clause.

But Sesko decided to sign a new long-term deal with Leipzig instead.

And he's set to feature in Slovenia’s Group C showdown with England on Tuesday.

Speaking to SunSport, he said: “To be honest, with the pressure, I put it on the bright side.

“It’s a good kind of pressure. If you have the opportunity where people can talk about you, doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, there’s something about you and it means I have done something good in the past and people are talking about it.

“I always put it on the bright side and I am happy to be a part of this.

“It’s definitely a good chance for me to play in this type of tournament. I’m really proud of myself to be a part of the team and be here and for the experience and the self-growth.

“It’s really important for me and for my career in general. It’s been an amazing time and I’m looking forward to more of this.”

  • Henry backed to take over as Wales boss

Thierry Henry has been backed as a shock contender for the Wales job.

That's the view of ex-Dragons striker Robert Earnshaw, who wants the Arsenal legend to replace the sacked Robert Page.

Earnshaw said: "One name who is left field but I'd throw is Thierry Henry. It's my own personal thought.

"I spent some time with Thierry on the coaching course a couple of years ago. He was on the Welsh FA course.

"He knows (technical director) David Adams and the set-up. He understands Welsh football.

"The one thing that stood out when I was sat with Thierry was his football brain is brilliant.

"With France U21s and the Olympic team, he understands young players. He would raise the bar and the level. I don't know whether he would want it.

"I could see someone like Thierry doing it. His football brain is brilliant, he's so sharp, advanced and has got great ideas."

  • Arthur Okonkwo to leave the club

Arthur Okonkwo has confirmed in a heartfelt message that he will leave Arsenal this month.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper joined the Gunners academy as an eight-year-old in 2009.

And on Instagram, he announced his departure from the club with a pic of his younger self at the Emirates.

He said: "The time has come to say goodbye Arsenal.

"Having joined the club in 2009 at eight-years-old, I have so many incredible memories from the past 15 years.

"I've made friends for life and owe so much to all the coaches I've worked with, team-mates I've played with, fans who've supported me and everyone involved with the Club for helping me grow and develop into the person and player I am today.

"Arsenal will always be special to me and I hope to see them be successful in the coming year."

Okonkwo signed a professional contract in 2021 and has endured three loan spells at Crewe Alexander, Sturm Graz and Wrexham.

  • Wilshere calls for England change

Jack Wilshere has called for Gareth Southgate to be brave and play Declan Rice as the sole holding midfielder.

The Arsenal legend says the Gunners midfielder needs to play a more demanding role in the Three Lions squad after their dismal 1-1 draw against Denmark on Thursday.

  • Saliba impresses for France

William Saliba has kept another clean sheet for France after the controversial VAR check against the Netherlands on Friday night.

And the defender kept his second clean sheet for France at Euro 2024 in a 0-0 draw with the Netherlands on Friday night.

The 23-year-old was France’s most reliable player on the ball, giving it away just once in 90 minutes.

The Netherlands had the ball in the back of the net in the 69th minute, but a VAR check found Denzel Dumfries to be offside and disallowed the goal.

  • Arsenal eye up Spain star

Arsenal are among the clubs tracking Spain's Euro 2024 star Nico Williams, according to TalkSPORT.

Williams was man of the match in Spain's 1-0 victory over Italy on Thursday, and has a release clause in his Athletic Bilbao contract believed to be as little as £47million.

The youngster has been thriving in Germany after an impressive term at Bilbao who won their first Copa del Rey in 40 years.

But the Gunners are not alone as Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in the forward alongside Spanish giants Barcelona too.

  • Arsenal enquire over Gallagher

Arsenal have reportedly shown interest in Chelsea star Conor Gallagher.

According AS, the Gunners have made an enquiry over the availability of Gallagher.

It comes after Atletico Madrid saw an opening bid rejected, while Tottenham also hold an interest.

The report also notes interest from Manchester United, Aston Villa and Newcastle, who are all said to have also asked about the England international's situation.

  • David Seaman advice

Arsenal legend David Seaman insists his former team needs to prioritise the signing of a striker this summer.

    Seaman told Betway:

I still feel Arsenal need to prioritise a striker, and any midfield signings would depend on if Thomas Partey stays or goes. If he stays, then I don’t think midfield is a priority.

I’d also possibly look for a back-up for [Bukayo] Saka and more depth at centre-half. None of it is urgent, though.

Arsenal don’t need a lot of new signings, just one or two in key positions.

    David Seaman
  • Arsenal transfer advice

Dwight Yorke advised Arsenal to "go all out" for Newcastle star Alexander Isak after missing out on RB Leipzig ace Benjamin Sesko.

Yorke told Best Payout Online Slots:

It's strange that Benjamin Sesko decided to stay at RB Leipzig and reject the likes of Arsenal. He's getting to the age where he should have made a move to the Premier League, early into his career so he can have some experience of British football under his belt.

Arsenal need to go all out for Alexander Isak now, they need someone like him because they came up short in the striker position. Arsenal will need to invest around £100million for Isak because that will be how much Newcastle will value him at, I can't imagine it being any less.

Kai Havertz was very useful to Arsenal last season, but they need someone like Isak instead of him at the striker position. Arsenal need a signing of that magnitude, like how Erling Haaland came to Man City and was scoring goals for fun, I think Isak can do the same.

Luckily for Arsenal, it works because Isak already has two years of Premier League experience and will adapt like it's nothing.

    Dwight Yorke
  • Kieran Tierney advice

Scotland legend Gordon Strachan shared some important advice for Arsenal ace Kieran Trippier.

    Strachan told Genting Casino:

Kieran’s character can never be doubted. His character will get him through this again.

I've always said to players that have been out injured for long periods – six months or whatever, and Kieran’s had a couple of those.

Don't think about it as you’ve lost six months, just add it on to the end of your career. If you're thinking about packing in at 33, pack in at 33 and a half.

  • Ex-Arsenal ace's dream

Arsenal hero Wojciech Szczesny has declared his aim to swap boots for blueprints by becoming an architect.

I have a couple of plans. All of them are more or less related to the development business. Some are pure real estate, others are related to architecture. I would like these businesses to correlate with each other.

I would like to study architecture. Ever since I was a young boy I had a very strange dream. When I lived on the tenth floor in Grochow, I could not see the centre of Warsaw.

On the other hand there was a small window in the staircase, from which you could see the panorama of Warsaw perfectly. Looking through this window, I thought I would design a building that would change the view of the city.

And this is still valid. I would love to design one, build it and sell it. Of course it will not happen right away, that I will end my career and in five years' time I will build 150 floors in Warsaw.

But that is my goal, to pursue it step by step. My projects, both personal and professional, have become bigger over time.

In this development and architectural dream I have so far tried to make larger and larger investments to prepare, hoping one day the dream will come to fruition. It may not happen, but the most important thing is to take small steps all the time.

    Wojciech Szczesny
  • More on Tierney

Scotland assistant manager John Carver confirmed Kieran Tierney is heading back to London to be assessed by Arsenal.

He was stretchered off the other night.

He's got an issue with his hamstring and as we speak he is heading home to be assessed by Arsenal.

That is all I can say at the moment.

  • Benjamin Sesko Exclusive

RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko addressed the “pressure” that has come with all the Premier League interest from clubs like Arsenal during Euro 2024 where he plays for Slovenia.

To be honest, with the pressure, I put it on the bright side.

It’s a good kind of pressure. If you have the opportunity where people can talk about you, doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad, there’s something about you and it means I have done something good in the past and people are talking about it.

  • Kieran Tierney sidelined

Arsenal ace Kieran Tierney is officially OUT of Euro 2024 after his most recent injury with Scotland.

Tierney looked gutted as he was taken off on a stretcher in the second half of the 1-1 draw against Switzerland on Wednesday.

The full-back was rushing back to defend a Swiss counter-attack when his leg buckled and he hit the floor in a heap and immediately gripped onto his hamstring and signalled to the subs' bench.

The Scots' manager Steve Clarke confirmed the injury "was a bad one" after the game in midweek.

And now it's been revealed that the 27-year-old is being sent home to continue his recovery at his club and will miss the rest of the tournament.

  • Benjamin Sesko's new contract

RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko has ended speculation about his future as he penned a new contract with his club.

Sesko was linked with several Premier League clubs, such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United - the Gunners were especially said to hold the upper hand.

The centre-forward had a release clause that would have made him available for £55million until June 30.

However, the Slovenia international has now penned an improved deal with Leipzig up until 2029.

The 21-year-old is now set to face England on Tuesday in the final Euro 2024 match of the group stage.

  • Arsenal ‘very close’ to Gyokeres

Arsenal have received a transfer boost in their bid to land Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres this summer.

According to wild speculation created by Portuguese outlet Leonino, the Gunners are “very close” to signing Gyokeres.

The centre-forward will command a high fee as SunSport revealed Sporting will remain firm on their expensive valuation.

The 26-year-old, who amassed a whopping 43 goals and 15 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions last season, has a release clause worth about £85million.

The North Londoners would want to negotiate a lower fee in the region of £50m-£60m, but Sporting are unwilling to let the Sweden international go on the cheap.
