I lived with no heating for four years – my trick to make your house and floors warmer instantly using rubbish
A WOMAN who has become a pro at living with no heating has revealed a savvy trick to keep you and your house warm for free.
Klaire de Lys took to social media, finishing off her series on how to keep warm without putting the heating on.
The mum shared all sorts of hacks on how to keep warm for free and this time - it's all to do with your recycling bin.
Klaire's house has had plenty of power cuts since the weather has dropped - meaning she has been unable to heat her house.
But she took to social media to share her clever heating hack.
She said: "It was quite funny how the minute it went cold and the minute we started getting into the minuses, suddenly just started having power cuts.

"And it's been every two or three days so far, so I'm kind of bracing myself for more.
"But on the topic of staying warm and things getting cold, there was one tip that I forgot to share last year in my Whole House Stay Warm series, and that is to save all of your big cardboard."
Klaire revealed that cutting the cardboard down and putting it on your floors can help keep the heat in.
"The reason you want to keep this, especially if you have tiles or if you have floorboards, is because it acts like a carpet," she explained.
the mum added it was great for when kids want to play on the floor and they can draw on the cardboard to keep them entertained if they're stuck indoors.
She ended the video, saying: "It's a great way to just stay a little bit warmer and use a resource that otherwise would just get thrown away."
The clip posted to her TikTok account @klairedelysofficial was a hit with viewers.
People took to the comments thanking Klaire for the money-saving hack.
One person wrote: "That's actually brilliant! I'm pretty good at winterizating the house, but that one had never occurred to me. Thanks for sharing!"
Another commented: "This is a great tip."
"Good to see you back," penned a third.
Someone else added: "Great tip, got a feeling this winter is going to be particularly harsh."
