UGC (@ugcwme) is steadily growing her following on TikTok, where she shares self-care tips.

She showed photos of the dark circles underneath her eyes before revealing the beauty buy she uses to treat them.

“If you’re like me and struggle with dark circles and puffiness around your eyes then this serum is a game changer,” she said.

According to Medical News Today, dark circles may be caused by genetics, aging, and lifestyle factors.

They are rarely a cause for concern but you may want to speak to a doctor if they get darker or swell.

The TikToker held up The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide Eye Serum, which costs $25 on the brand’s website.

The water-based serum has been formulated to treat the signs of aging around the eyes.

Key ingredients include EGCG (epigallocatechin gallatyl glucoside), niacinamide, and caffeine.

EGCG is thought to reduce inflammation, while niacinamide treats hyperpigmentation and minimizes the appearance of wrinkles.

Caffeine has antioxidant properties and stimulates blood circulation around the eyes.

The Ordinary recommends applying a small amount of their serum onto the eye contour in the morning and evening for the best results

“It’s packed with powerful peptides that work to firm, brighten, and hydrate the delicate skin around your eyes,” UGC said.

“I love this serum. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly so I can apply it under my makeup in the morning and before I go to bed at night.

The video went viral with over 263,000 views and 3,800 likes from people grateful for the recommendation.

Customers on The Ordinary’s website have penned glowing reviews about how effective the serum was for their skin.

“Super hydration and reduced fine lines,” one person wrote.

“Loved it so much I had to buy more and even bought some as gifts for friends and family! They loved them and won’t use anything else!”

“Love this serum so smooth and makes my eye bags less puffy,” another said.

“Super easy to apply with the dropper. Don’t have to use much either, I only use a drop of oil and that seems to be enough for both of my eyes.”
