I’m a 66-year-old makeup mogul – I have the best way to banish dark under-eye circles, and it’s not concealer
BEAUTY guru Bobbi Brown has revealed an alternative to concealer for reducing the appearance of dark undereye circles.
She revealed the makeup hack works on people of different skin tones and can be done using fingers instead of an applicator.
Bobbi (@justbobbibrown) has garnered over 461,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares beauty tips and product recommendations.
The mom of three took to the social media platform to reveal how she instantly banishes dark undereye circles.
“The best way to get rid of dark circles is with a pencil,” she said.
“Eye cream is going to hydrate underneath the eye.

“I sometimes use two different colors of pencils under the eyes.
“One that neutralizes and gets rid of any kind of extra darkness and then one that just lightens the dark circle.”
The 66-year-old makeup mogul demonstrated the hack on women of different ethnicities to reveal how flattering it looks on each skin tone.
Having prepared the skin with an eye cream, she applied The Face Pencil which costs $25 from Jones Road.
The beauty brand also sells an eye cream for $34 which has an almost perfect five-star rating from happy customers.
“Go all the way up to the lashes to get rid of any kind of redness,” Bobbi said while applying the pencil.
“My tip is also to go on the inner corner because a lot of people are dark right there and it’s good to lighten it up.
“You can either blend it with your finger or you could use the detail brush to do the same thing.
“It really is a preference of what works for you.”
Jones Road sells an eye detail brush for $22. The product description says it’s “ideal for creating intensity” as it helps to pack on pigment.
Almost 30,000 people watched Bobbi’s video and it racked up hundreds of likes from people who were grateful for the tip.
Many viewers took to the comment section amazed and asked the beauty guru to share more makeup hacks.
