In the clip posted to TikTok (@mrphoenixgrey), he begins by discussing beaded pillows and jokes that if you have these in your home, then you deserve 10 to 15 years behind bars for "attempted homicide."

"If you let your guest sit down on a sofa with these, you are going to snag your clothes, they're going to stab you in any which way or direction possible," he says.

He goes on to note that even the popular sequin ones fall into this category because they're a "disaster waiting to happen."

Next, the interior design whizz also shares his disdain for the Croc bed, which he notes deserves a "life sentence."

"This was premeditated.- you intentionally bought this giant piece of rubber garbage and you are proud of it and you should be publicly shamed," he says.

"Crocs in general are a life sentence."

Not stopping there, the interior designer also notes how bean bag chairs are also a big no go.

"This is a first time offence because I know as soon as you have to clean up one of these after they've exploded and those beads are everywhere, it's an absolute nightmare," he explains.

However, Phoenix notes that he's going to give any offenders probation.

"The punishment is to count each individual bead as you clean it up," he explains.

Phoenix goes on to say that despite thinking he was done with the final design trend, he thinks people need a reminder.

"Do not have carpets or larger rugs in bathrooms," he pleads. "So this is going be a 10 year sentence and a fine.

"You also have to spend your time locked up examining at a microscopic level the bacteria growth in these."

And last but not least, the home interior pro urges people to avoid linoleum peel and stick tiles.

"I'm going to give you a year sentence on these because that's as long as you're going to get before they start cracking or peeling, just from regular wear and tear and cleaning," he says.

The post has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 144k views and several comments - with very mixed opinions.

"I put rugs in my bathroom haha. But they’re washable so I don’t see how it’s different than a bath mat. Also close the lid when you flush always," wrote one.

A second penned: "Obviously you have never worn Crocs."

A third commented: "I have a defence for beanbags but only if you have kids, a small house and you buy a tough one.

"In that situation they are better than an extra chair because you can pull them out and the kids can..."

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Disagree with the peel and stick tiles. Do what you can afford while upgrading your home."

And a further admitted: "I’m so guilty of the rugs in my bathroom, but they look so good…"
