A HOME improvement expert has revealed her affordable tricks for making your living space more luxurious.
She expressed the importance of opting for eye-catching decor and home gadgets that make everyday tasks easier.
Hannah Jones is a realtor and home improvement expert with over three years of experience working on high-profile projects.
Speaking to The U.S. Sun, she shared budget-friendly hacks for upgrading your house.
CLEVER CLEANER
Jones said bidets have become increasingly popular among homeowners looking for a luxurious bathroom add-on.
Over 17,000 buyers from Hello Tushy have given the gadget which costs less than $100 a 5-star rating.
Tushy’s bidet has been designed to use water from your sink or shower to clean your bottom.
Jones described bidets as “one of the most convenient” gadgets to invest in.
“It has a lot of advantages namely being an environmentally friendly appliance, reduced usage/wastage of toilet paper, and overall increased hygiene and sanitation of the bathroom,” she said.
STYLISH SETS
Jones revealed her “biggest” tip to homeowners is to avoid embracing the matchy-matchy trend.
She said this goes for choosing sofas, bedding, and even dining sets.
“This makes your space look a bit uninspired because it just seems as if you didn't want to put any thought and effort into the decor and just bought it off the rack,” she said.
The interior designer said matching sets are outdated, it’s better to mix and match furnishings.
“Get a white 3-seater sofa along with a printed ottoman,” she said.
“A contemporary style really shows the beauty of the room.”

BRIGHT IDEA
Jones didn’t overlook kitchens as she raved about adding oversized pendant lighting to give the room “personality.”
“Big, bold, and beautiful,” she said.
“You can easily choose big lighting and add three or four bulbs to it and use it as one big pendant light above the kitchen.
“This will save you the hassle of putting up three lights and the whole process rather you can just choose one and be done with it.”
