Posting on social media, the mother gave her followers a close-up look at the messy caravan, before she got to work.

While it was extremely dated, it was also a bit of a mess too, and was in desperate need of some TLC and modernisation.

The mum then penned: “Watch to see how we transformed this caravan we bought for £800.”

Shortly after, Rebecca showed off the finished result - which had been transformed with new flooring, curtains, wallpaper and reupholstered sofas.

The dull flooring had been given a total new look and had been updated with a very on trend, herringbone style.

The once old-fashioned, floral-style sofas were also given a revamp with a soft, cosy, boucle material.

Rebecca also added soft furnishings, plants and a tropic wallpaper, adding her personal touch to the caravan.

Clearly very proud of her budget transformation, Rebecca wrote: “Finally all the hard work is done.”

In another video, Rebecca shared how she reupholstered the caravan seats, turning them from drab to fab in no time at all.

She said: “So these are the seats that came with the caravan. They definitely needed to be covered. I thought about covers, sofa covers and all the rest of it, but I know I just wanted them reupholstered.

“I didn't have a budget to reupholster them, so I decided to give it a go myself.

“I bought this cover for £10 - it's just a fluffy duvet cover.  I thought what have I got to lose, other than £10, and give it a go myself.

“I got these buttons on Amazon and sewed them in through. Bear in mind I’ve never done anything like this in my life before.”

As she showed off the finished sofas, she beamed: “I think it really paid off. This is just super cosy for the kids and I am delighted with it.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @rebeccapike93, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly amassed 14,300 views.

Social media users were extremely impressed with Rebecca’s DIY project and many took to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Looks amazing.”

Another added: “Looks great.”
