A COUPLE have revealed that they bought a dated 1950s bungalow and have given it the ultimate transformation.
The young couple explained that they bought their first home when they were just 20 and 21.
Now, the pair have renovated the one-storey home and have shared each stage of its makeover on social media, where they post under the username ‘Our Bungalow Reno.’
In one clip, the couple shared a close-up look at how they took their home from drab to fab.
They wrote: “POV: You bought your first home and started your dream of renovating at 20 and 21.”
In the short clip, we saw the couple get to work on the bungalow renovation, as they knocked down a wall and added insulation to the walls.

The duo later revealed that it was possible for them to renovate the bungalow, as they had previously lived at their parents house whilst saving money.
They claimed: “[Lived] at my parents’ and they didn’t charge us rent. I’m not a big drinker so it was easy for me [to save money].”
Not only this, but Hannah Selvaratnam claimed that her partner, Charlie Cook, is a joiner, and as a result of his skills, the couple were able to save loads of money on their bungalow’s makeover.
Hannah shared: “My partner is a joiner so can do pretty much everything so we’ve saved thousands on labour which has helped.”
In another clip, the couple shared the progress of their kitchen renovation.
What was once one of the back bedrooms, with striped wallpaper and dated carpet, the couple set to work on giving the space a new look.
They “started by stripping the wallpaper” and then “lifted the carpets”.
After this, they “were then ready to knock the wall down, between the two back rooms.”
Once this was done, they then had the cabinets and the worktops fitted and then got the spotlights put in.
They also had the floor fixed ready for their posh Herringbone flooring to be laid.
Thrilled at their finished kitchen, the pair beamed: “We absolutely love it!"
The couple also explained that they are “living their dream life”.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ourbungalowreno6, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 392,500 views.
Social media users were stunned at the couple’s home transformation and many were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Life goals right there.”
Another added: “Stunning.”
A third commented: “Wow that's amazing.”
