We bought the bungalow nobody wanted – it was dated and tired with tragic carpet, but we’ve turned it into a dream house
A MAN has revealed that he bought a run-down bungalow and has slowly turned it into a dream house.
A builder named Corey explained that the bungalow was dated and tired, with tragic red carpet, but it is now unrecognisable.
But people are totally stunned at the home’s transformation - and whilst Corey claimed that “nobody wanted” the bungalow, many revealed that they “loved” how it looked before its renovation.
Not only this, but while some thought the overhaul was “beautiful”, many claimed that Corey had simply “knocked down” the original one-storey home and instead replaced it with a “box.”
Showing off a before and after look at the property on social media, Corey explained: “We bought the bungalow that nobody wanted.
“The interior was dated and tired.

“It needed a new lease of life and a new story.”
Corey took his followers around the home, which had red carpets, floral wallpaper and dated tiles in the bathroom.
Corey got to work on the ‘gut job’ as he began to remodel the property.
The man then explained that this transformation has been a very slow process and he still isn’t finished.
He wrote: “It has taken us five years to do this.
“Let me take you inside.”
We then saw the inside of the unique, black home, which was now two-storeys and complete with a stunning open-plan kitchen diner, with gold taps, marble countertops and a large kitchen island.
Corey then showed off the cosy living space, which was finished with an open fire and a large black sofa, for a fresh, modern look.
Following this, the DIY whizz confirmed: “We still haven’t finished but renovating isn’t a race.
“Dream visions.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @coreydesigns, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly amassed 810,700 views.
However, people were left divided at the renovation project - while some thought it looked ‘beautiful', others admitted that they preferred the original.
Not only this, but many were shocked at how unrecognisable the property now was.
One person said: “‘This house needs a refresh’, *builds entirely new house.”
Another added: “We bought the bungalow no one wanted..we also didn’t want it so we knocked it down and rebuilt.”
A third commented: “I loved the original.”
Whilst someone else admitted: “I liked the original, just needed to get rid of the carpet. I hate the new version, it’s so austere.”
Another DIY fan chimed in: “Builds a box instead.”
Meanwhile, not everyone was as negative about the home’s new look, as someone else beamed: “This looks so amazing.”
A second wrote: “It’s literally perfect.”
Someone else chimed in: “WOW. What a beautiful transformation! Worth every penny to upgrade.”
