And not only has the inside of the property been given a total need look, but the outside has been given a breathtaking overhaul too.

The savvy woman took to social media to show off her home’s renovation - leaving many open-mouthed.

However, whilst many were eager to describe the home as “beautiful”, others were quick to accuse Melissa of relying on cash to transform her space.

Posting online, Melissa claimed: “We bought the worst house on the street.”

The DIY enthusiast then gave her social media followers a close-up look at the home before its renovation, as well as during and after.

The once tired and bland space was given a modern makeover and was turned into a chic grey, white and black paradise.

The kitchen is one you’d expect to see in a magazine, with a stunning island, black cupboards and Smeg appliances.

The black theme continued in the bathroom, with a walk-in rainfall shower and a beautiful sink.

The living area was complete with black panelling, a cosy fire and a beautiful (shock) black table and chairs.

The sitting area was decorated to perfection, with a cosy grey sofa and trendy beige accessories.

The trendy nature of the home continued in the bedrooms - all three of which were super grey and chic.

But it wasn’t just the inside of the home that was impressive, as the garden was also given a stunning overhaul too.

With a hot tub, fire pit and large egg chair, this outside space is definitely one you’d want to relax in in the summer

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @inside142home, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 234,000 views.

Social media users were stunned at the home’s new look and were eager to share this in the comments.

One user wrote: “Looks amazing.”

Another added: “Fantastic job.”

A third commented: “Absolutely beautiful.”

Whilst someone else shared: “Now you got the best house on the street.”

At the same time, someone else asked: “Great job, how long did it take & cost if you don't mind me asking?”

To this, Melisssa replied: “It took us around 13-15 months, as we completed most of the work ourselves.

“Pricing is back in 2019/20, so wouldn’t help with the cost of material.”

However, not everyone was as complimentary.

One user penned: “I would love to have seen something original in the interior other than grey n black..”

To this, Melissa jokingly replied: “It’s not just grey and black… don’t forget white!”

Meanwhile, another user chimed in: “Would have easily spent around £150k on that to get it to that.”

Whilst someone else agreed: “It's all about having money.”

In response, Melissa clapped back: “It’s about working hard doing most of the renovation ourselves.

“We saved hard and put in a lot of hours of work to get it like this.”
