I went to a charity shop and couldn’t believe my luck when I spotted a designer goodie for just £10…it’s worth hundreds
MANY people would love to own a designer handbag but can’t justify the eye-watering price tags.
However, one bargain hunter revealed how she managed to find an iconic rainbow-coloured Kurt Gieger bag for just £10.
Ordinarily the gorgeous ‘Leather Kensington Bag’ retails for £289 on the official website, representing a saving of a whopping £279 for the shopper.
The woman shared how she had popped into her local charity shop and had no idea that she would be walking away with an impressive bargain.
Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she shared photos of her designer find.
She wrote: “Got this absolute beauty in St. Luke's charity shop in Brentwood yesterday for £10.

“Always look in charity shops.”
Her post has racked up hundreds of likes from impressed bargain hunters.
One wrote: “That's gorgeous! Well spotted.”
Another added: “I’m so jealous I love this bag! Brilliant find, well done.”
And a third commented: “I've had my eye on this for about 2 years buy I refuse to pay rhe full amount as it would be an occasional use bag haha.”
The Kurt Gieger website states of its bag: “The Leather Kensington Bag is crafted from soft metallic laminated pebble grain cow leather with iconic rainbow sewn stripe pattern.
“The antiqued silver Eagle head features rainbow coloured crystals and black crystal eyes on the front flap.”

Ross Dutton has been a manager for Crisis's charity shops for four years and currently runs the charity's Finsbury Park shop in London.
Choose your area - As a rule of thumb, the posher the area, the better quality the clothes that are donated.
Don't hang around - If you see something you like, buy it, as it'll likely be gone when you come back
Look out for cut-off labels - Some of your favourite high street stores will have deals with local charity shops to donate stock that isn't sold during their own sales. Often part of the deal is that they need to cut the labels off the clothes.
Stay at home - While some charities have their own site, like Oxfam and Crisis. many also sell from dedicated eBay stores, such as British Heart Foundation and Scope. You won't get the range of bargains that you would get in a physical store, but if you're looking for something specific it may be worth checking online too.

In a video which has racked up over 6,000 likes, she shared her top recommendations if you want to bag a designer treat.
She said: “If you want to go to some charity shops in London with designer clothes this weekend, you need to visit this posh area in north London.
“The charity shops are a bit more on the expensive side, but they’re totally worth it.
“We started at Belsize Park and then walked out to Hampstead Heath.”
Lottie advised that the first stop along the way should be Marie Curie (postcode NW3 4QT).
