My neighbors always stare because my ‘inappropriate outfits don’t fit my body shape,’ they don’t realize I don’t care
A PLUS-SIZE woman has subtly clapped back at people who criticize her style in a body positive statement with a pop star reference.
Neighbors said that she regularly wore "inappropriate clothes" that don't fit her body shape, but she declared that she doesn't care what they think.
Mama Beky (@bekagillis) regularly shares random moments of her life online, from family to fitness.
She brought viewers outside in a video to show what she was wearing in her "healing girl walk" that wasn't a hit for all.
The content creator wore a white crop top that exposed the top of her stomach, high-waisted black gym shirts, and white sneakers.
To top it off, she accessorized with large headphones that covered her ears and a colorful beaded necklace.
Beky detailed that it was just "another day" where she wore "inappropriate clothes" in the subtitle.
The reason why was that people in her neighborhood thought the clothes "don't fit her body shape."
As a result, her attire "makes all the suburbia folk uncomfy and stare," she also revealed in the subtitle.
The neighborhood residents did not like her panty line showing through her black athletic shorts.
She comically wrote in the video caption to "HIDE YO HUSBANDS" because of a minor detail.
She made it known how unbothered she was by their opinions and that she "didn't give a f**k" as she posed and sipped on a healthy green juice.
Since she's a massive Taylor Swift fan, Beky closed out the video by singing along to one of the popstar's massive hit songs Mean.
"Someday, I'll be living in a big old city and all you're ever gonna be is mean," it said.
The comment section was filled with supportive messages and compliments.
"YASSSSS BAD B***H ENERGY FORREAL," a viewer commented.
"Looks like it fits just fine to me!" another praised.
"Me too girly. Me too," a TikTok user added.
Two women also chimed in to tell her to "get it" because she looked so good.
