I’m a confident big girl, it gets me riled up when trolls say my swimsuits are ‘inappropriate’
A PLUS-SIZE woman has subtly clapped back at people who say it's inappropriate for her to wear swimsuits.
She admitted that their words about her body upset her, but she's proud to be a "confident big girl."
Wife and mother Ternesha Connors (@ternesha_connors) shares transparent and body positive content online.
In a TikTok video, she embraced her curvy body while having a fun pool day with her family.
She's received her fair share of criticism from online trolls about her style choices.
"When someone wants to argue with me about my swimsuit being inappropriate," the subtitle read.
Ternesha responded by filming herself in the water as she spoke to the camera.
Viewers could not hear what she said but her mannerisms and use of the song Green Light by John Legend showed that she was riled up.
The most notable lyrics sang "I'm ready to go right now," which meant she was ready to fight.
She wore a one-piece pastel floral swimsuit and blue swimming goggles on her head.
Her husband joined in on the video as he swam around her and did boxing moves.
One of the body confident hashtags under the video read #biggirlconfidence.
Viewers offered supportive feedback in the comment section of the video.
"Lol, it’s a one-piece. How is that inappropriate?" one inquired.
Another wrote: "She's a grown woman."
"Get ‘em besssst frienddd," a fan praised.
A TikTok user added: "SO ANYWAY we gotta talk about how your hair is absolutely glistening."
