‘Amazing for preventing damp’ woman praises £16 Asda buy that soaks up moisture from windowless bathroom and utility
IT can be hard to prevent damp in your home, especially in rooms without windows like bathrooms and utility rooms.
But one savvy homeowner has found the perfect product to combat it - and the best part is it won't break the bank.
The UniBond Aero 360 Compact Moisture Absorber Device costs just £16 in Asda and is a much cheaper alternative to other products.
The homeowner showed off theirs on TikTok and said: "I came across these in Asda, once I had one I had to grab another"
"These soak up damp like there's no tomorrow! These last me a month if not longer," they added.
The homeowner said they keep one in their bathroom, which doesn't have a window, and another in their small utility room, which houses their tumble dryer which runs multiple times a day.

The product is description on Asda's website reads: "UniBond AERO 360º effectively absorbs moisture from indoor air to help create a comfortable indoor climate and prevent common damp problems such as condensation, mould, damp and musty smells."
Unlike similar products, the AERO 360º doesn't use any electricity, instead it relies on a refillable moisture absorber, which also banishes grim odours.
Other homeowners raved about the product in the comments of the clip.
One said: "I love mine for my toilet, best damp absorber I've had."
A second agreed: "Yes! They're so good and cheap."
"I've been using the Poundland ones but will try these too, thank you," someone else wrote.
You do need to buy refills for the product, but the homeowner noted that at £6 they're worth every penny.
Home Bargains shoppers have also been raving about a product to help combat damp and condensation - and it's just 79p.
The retailer is selling dehumidifier tubs that offer a cheap solution for your home in the winter months.
You can buy a pack of 12 for £9.48, or just one for 79p - a bargain too good to miss.
The Ambient Air Interior Dehumidifier tubs are described on the Home Bargains website as an "easy and quick way to help eradicate damp"
The tubs draw dampness and moisture from the surrounding atmosphere and trap it.
This helps to reduce condensation and prevent mould and mildew build-up.
Alternatively, you could get your hands on the Absodry duo family moisture absorber for £25.
The absorber contains 600g of moisture-absorbing crystals which will last up to three months collecting extra moisture around the house.
You will however need to replace the moisture bag every three months. You can purchase a pack of two Absorby refills for £10 from Dunelm.
The product has received rave reviews online from shoppers.
