‘Keep the heat in and cold out’ with excellent £12 Dunelm buy that means you can put the heating on less this winter
PUTTING the heating on only for it to escape out of the windows is disheartening.
But there’s a clever hack that costs just £12 and “keeps the heat in”, meaning your house will be super cosy this winter.
Sarah Corlett asked in the Mrs Hinch’s Cleaning Tips Facebook group: “Not really cleaning but anyone got any tips to keep the house warm and also where to get cheap thermal curtains.”
Her post attracted nearly 100 comments and several people recommended thermal curtains.
Emma Tooze replied: “Asda have them [thermal curtains] in grey they are great!
“I have them in my bedroom make all the difference. However the biggest trick with them although not ideal is to keep them always closed. I did this yesterday and it really did help.”
