‘A win is a win’ say people after mum shares DIY nappy for her tot – & everyone says it’s ‘cheaper’ than buying them
A SAVVY mum has left people open-mouthed and seriously impressed after demonstrating how she made a DIY nappy.
Did you forget to stock up on nappies during your last trip to the supermarket? Are your supplies running low? Then fear not, as one mum has come to rescue with a solution that takes just seconds.
The clever parent, only known as Itsty, took to TikTok where she revealed the somewhat genius idea she'd come up with - and fellow mums and dads reckon it's more budget-friendly than forking out for actual nappies.
Instead of dashing to the store or leaving her kid running around with no nappies, Itsty made her very own DIY nappy - one that consisted of adding a thick sanitary pad inside the tot's knickers.
To ensure the pad wasn't going to slide all over the place and remain secure, the savvy mum used the wings the period towel came with.
''Ran outta Pampers, so I had to come up with something,'' Itsty chuckled in the now-viral video.

''Had to improvise a little bit,'' she went on in the caption.
Needless to say, fellow parents were amazed by the simple yet seemingly effective solution, as hundreds of the 1.3million viewers raced to comments to praise the trick.
One mum said: ''You gave me an idea to potty train!''
''What a good idea!'' someone else chimed in.
''A win is a win,'' a third chuckled.
''Better than nothing! You're doing great,'' another penned.
Turns out, it wasn't only Itsty using sanity pads as an extra emergency nappy - plenty of other parents claimed they, too, were fond of this method and some even reckoned it was better for the budget.
''This is cheaper,'' one mum noted.
