We first saw Lynsey open up her bedroom window and hang her laundry on the curtain rail.
She explained: “This is a method I’ve been doing for absolutely years, [it’s] so simple.
“Clothes on a hanger up the window, door closed, window open.
“Then I use a draught excluder to stop the air from coming down.”
For Lynsey’s second tip, she explained that you need to pay close attention to your tumble dryer, as she added: “Make sure you de-fluff your tumble dryer and use your tumble dryer balls to keep it running efficiently.”
As well as this, although it might feel cold, Lynsey claimed that it’s still ok to dry your washing outside, as she continued: “Hang your washing outside.
"If the path is dry, the washing will dry.”
She then shared an alternative to hanging your clothes on a radiator, as she advised: “And whatever you do, do not do this [hang your clothes directly on the radiator].
“Instead, do this. Use a radiator rail and your washing will dry quicker, and it’ll be most cost-effective for you.”
When it comes to drying your clothes on a radiator, Owen Whitlock, interior expert at Beanbags.co.uk has shared why this might not be the best idea.
He said: “While hanging wet clothes over your radiators will dry them, this could cause excess condensation in your home.
“This will lead to mould which can create all kinds of damage including staining paintwork, not to mention the allergens that mould can produce."
In the TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @lynsey_queenofclean and has quickly amassed 12,000 views, Lynsey then shared her thoughts on indoor airers.
She expressed: “Don’t forget, indoor airers are a big thing now. I love them for jeans and jumpers.
“I really love this over the bath area. It’s great if you haven’t got much space. Then there’s the classic airers.”
Finally, Lynsey shared her washing machine hack that you’ll need to know about.
