I cleared the shelves in Tesco & made £180 in one hour – people say I’m talking ‘waffle’ but it’s easy, anyone can do it

A RESELLER revealed how he can make an impressive "£180 an hour" after snapping up the entire stock of stainless steel water bottles in Tesco.

Jack Bayliss of Aftermarket Arbitrage told how he swiped the shelves of Sistema bottles, before asking a member of Tesco's staff to fetch him whatever units they also had out the back.

The reseller increased the price by almost four times the amount - from £3 to over £11.

In the clip posted to TikTok (@aftermarketarbitrage), he can be seen sharing the process and claims: "I make £180 an hour at Tesco."

He then grabs a trolley and heads over to try and find some reduced Sistema bottles.

"They weren't anywhere to be seen but the stock checker I used said they did have units in stock so I didn't give up and asked the staff to see if there's any out the back," he says.

"They initially said they would'n't give me more than six because they said it was a pricing error but I know from the discord that it's a nationwide offer and not just a one off occurrence.

"Thankfully, they gave me all that they had in the back."

After securing a trolley-worth full and heading to the tills, he had his bag secured.

"They cost £3 each and I'll sell on Amazon for over £11, giving over 100% return on investment and £3.84 profit per unit," he claims.

"With the 24 units I got hold of, that's over £90 product and will take 15 mins to prep for UPS to pick up - the shopping only costs a couple of quid.

"It took me just 30 minutes."

By Jack's calculations, that means that if he did this twice in an hour, he'd earn himself a whopping £180.

He captioned the post: "Making £180/hour at Tesco!"

The post quickly went viral, garnering an impressive 113k views and several comments from social media users.

But while the reseller was chuffed with his bargain buys, others questioned him on how he knew he could shift all of the 24 units he managed to get hold of.

"WAFFFFFLE," wrote one.

"So you went to Tesco, bought them, drove back , prepped and packed them in 30 mins? …ok mate," commented a second.
