GOOD Morning Britain hosts have revealed why Kate Garraway was absent from the show after fans grew worried.
Kate was missing from the screen as her replacement Ranvir Singh sent well wishes on social media.
The presenter had also left her Smooth radio show during broadcast on Wednesday, which sparked concern among listeners.
However speculation was put to bed when Charlotte Hawkins told viewers this morning: "She would be here today but she's lost her voice. She's all well but she can't speak."
To which Adil Ray joked: "She's lost her voice, she's been too influential in the past year."
Charlotte added: "I know, she obviously has been hasn't she."

Kate made a return to TV and radio earlier last month after after two months off air.
The beloved presenter stepped back after her husband Derek Draper passed away at the beginning of the year, following a four-year struggle with Covid.
Kate played 'Your Song' by music icon Sir Elton John, in the memory of her late husband during her first show back on Smooth Radio.
