Money-saving whizz shares top 5 picks to beat the cold weather from Home Bargains, Primark & Aldi & prices start from £1
DO you feel like you've exhausted all options when it comes to trying to keep warm for cheap?
Well, listen up! Because Mia Munro has shared her top picks from Primark, Aldi, Home Bargains and B&M for easy winter dinners, winter warmers and all the essentials for a cosy night in - and her bargains start at just £1.
First up on her list of winter must-haves is a 2-pack of gloves, which cost just £1 from Primark.
“I picked up a two pack of gloves from Primark in this gorgeous beige colour," explains the savvy shopper.
"They’re pretty basic, but they get the job done, and for just 50p a pair, I’m not complaining!
"I also found a winter scarf in a similar colour that pairs great with them. Again, it’s a great price at just £5."

Mia - a student from Leeds - then moves on to an adorable 'Me to You Foot Warmer' from Home Bargains - and the best part of all? It costs just £7.99.
“I can’t stand having cold feet in the winter, so this Me to You Foot Warmer at Home Bargains was a no brainer," she says.
"The furry material is super soft and perfect for chilly evening, plus, if you know anyone who’s a Me to You Bear fan it would be a great gift.
"I’ve found myself using it when I’m watching TV in the evenings instead of blasting the heating."
Next up, the bargain hunter says that another one of her cosy evening essentials is the 'Snuddie To Go,' which costs £18 at Primark.
"These are new in this year and there are a few different colours and varieties - including a Strawberry shaped one! Snuddies are great when it’s chilly but I’ve found they can be awkward to store," she says.
"So for me, one that comes in a travel pouch is perfect."
Mia also notes that she recently treated herself to the Galaxy Movie Night Hot Chocolate Kit from B&M, which retails at £5.
“For £5 you get 6 Galaxy Hot Chocolate Sachets and loads of delicious toppings," she explains.
"There’s chocolate drops, sugar star sprinkles and popcorn marshmallows.
"Bits like this are a nice treat if you’re trying to jazz up an evening in."
And last but not least, Mia says if you’re looking for an easy winter warmer dinner that won’t break the bank, Aldi’s new individual pies are a great option.
Costing £2.49 each, she says: “If you’re looking for an easy winter warmer dinner that won’t break the bank, Aldi’s new individual pies are a great option.
"There’s Steak, Chicken, Bacon & Leak, and my favourite, Beef Bourguignon.
"They’re £2.49 a piece and part of Aldi’s Specially Selected range”.
Tom Church, Co-founder of money saving community LatestDeals.co.uk commented: “Mia has shown that you don’t need to spend a fortune to find fun winter essentials to get you through the cold weather.

"Shopping around really is the key here. Browsing through multiple stores, rather than just buying from one, can save you a lot of money in the long run.
