‘What a transformation’ people beam as woman shows off her ‘champagne style on lemonade wages’ council house makeover
A WOMAN has left people stunned after showing off her council house bedroom’s epic makeover.
The young woman explained that she moved into a council house as a student with low funds.
She claimed that the property was “very dated” as it had been previously lived in for 45 years by the same “elderly” person.
As a result, there was “so much work to do”, but the woman, who was on a tight budget, explained that she got to work on transforming the house into a stunning home.
The DIY fan explained that she has “champagne taste on lemonade wages” and was able to give the home a brand new look, without breaking the bank.
In a clip shared on social media, the woman gave a before, during and after look at her bedroom’s overhaul.

Before she got to work, the space was unloved and in some serious need of TLC.
The bare floorboards were on show and the wallpaper was extremely dated.
However, thanks to some new flooring, panelling and paint, the woman was able to give her bedroom a fresh new feel.
The woman stripped the old wallpaper and gave the room a fresh lick of white paint.
Not only this, but she also used panelling to create her very own feature wall, which she then painted in beige.
And if that wasn’t enough, the DIY fan also installed new flooring.
The room is now one of dreams - not only is it super on trend and stylish, but it’s cute and cosy too.
To bring the space to life, either side of the bed are matching white bedside tables, dressed with candles and pampas grass.
A soft throw and furry cushions were added to the bed and a warm LED light was placed behind the headboard, creating the ultimate warm vibe.
