In last night's episode, the millionaire businessman spoke about Kate and the royal family with other housemates.

There has been rampant speculation online surrounding the royal's whereabouts after her operation in January at The London Clinic.

Conspiracy theories circulated after Prince William bowed out of a memorial service last week, where he was expected to give a reading.

And while Kensington Palace would not comment further on William's reasoning, it said Kate was currently "doing well".

The royal mum-of-three was seen on Monday for the first time since her hospital stay.

Kate was spotted in the passenger seat as mum Carole, 69, drove her in an Audi near Windsor Castle.

He's [Prince William] had an olive branch open every time for Harry to come back and be part of the gang."

She was wearing sunglasses and appeared to be smiling slightly.

Goldsmith said previously on the show conspiracy theorists "should leave her alone right now".

Last night on CBB, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Culculoglu asked Goldsmith: "Where's Kate?"

He replied: "Because she doesn't want to talk about, the last thing I'm going to do is, there's a kind of code of etiquette.

"If it's announced, I'll give you an opinion.

Kate Middleton's Uncle Gary confides to Fern Britton that the Sussexes should have their titles stripped

"I spoke to her mum, my sister, she's getting the best care in the world.

"And all the family's done is put the wagons round and look after family first before anything else.

"They put a statement out and just said, 'She's taking some time to (recuperate) and will see you in Easter'."

Ekin-Su then asked: "I've heard mixed things about Kate and I don't want to make a comment, but whatever it is, do you want her to come back?"

"She'll be back, of course she will," replied Goldsmith.

'OLIVE BRANCH'

Earlier in the episode, he told housemate Fern Britton that he did not like people calling Kate "common".

He explained while his father was a painter and decorator, and his mother was an accounts clerk, himself and sister Carol were multimillionaires by the time they were 30.

Goldsmith added: "So I get a bit narky when they say Kate is common, there's nothing common about their family."

The controversial businessman also spoke of Prince William stepping up and dealing with his brother Harry.

"He's done an amazing job in that horrible situation," said the CBB contestant.

"He's had an olive branch open every time for Harry to come back and be part of the gang."

Goldsmith also claimed the royal family should "take the titles off" the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

EVICTION NOMINATION

Earlier this week, fellow housemate Sharon Osbourne nominated Goldsmith for eviction after making the "worst first impression".

In Wednesday's episode the X-Factor judge spoke to Princess Kate's uncle about why he entered the show.

Goldsmith told her: "It does bother me what the public perception of me is - the black sheep of the royal family. I'm a normal bloke.

"It just so happens that my niece married Will. And I just thought when this opportunity came, I could show people that I'm not that person.

"And I've really put myself out there because this isn't my world. And ultimately, I'm not a celebrity. I don't want to be a celebrity. I don't want to go down that path."

The royals and Middleton family were previously said to be terrified when The Sun revealed in January that Goldsmith was in the reboot of the reality show.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Gary insisted he could never do anything to upset “beautiful” Kate, and slammed claims against her of racism as “bull***t”.

Since his appearance on CBB, he has also revealed Kate is "hard to get ahold of".

Who is Gary Goldsmith

Gary Goldsmith is a millionaire businessman who made his money in recruitment.

He is uncle to Princess Kate as well as her siblings Pippa and James Middleton, through his older sister Carole.

Gary is the son of a painter and decorator from West London and grandson of a miner from a pit village in Durham.

The businessman began working as an IT operator and after joining IT recruitment company Computer Futures and soon became a director who owned shares in the company.

He reportedly then bagged a five-bedroom house in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with a swimming pool and snooker room; invested in a boat; and drove a series of supercars.

In 2005 he sold his shares in Computer Futures for £17million and bought a villa in Ibiza.

Gary has been married four times - his first wife was sales executive Miranda Foote and they tied the knot in 1991.

He then married second wife Luan in 1997, with whom he had daughter, Tallulah.

Kate's uncle attended her 2011 wedding to Prince William along with Luan and Talullah, and he was also seen at Pippa's Berkshire wedding to James Matthews in 2017.

His third wife Julia Leake was followed by fourth, Julie-Ann Brown in 2012.

Gary was arrested in October 2017 after allegedly assaulting wife Julie-Ann outside their central London home.

In the November he pleaded guilty to knocking out his wife during a drunken street brawl at Westminster Magistrates court.

He was handed a £5,000 fine for the incident and ordered into alcohol rehabilitation.

Gary is reported to have a net worth of around £30million.

Goldsmith said: “It’s difficult to get hold of Kate at the best of times, and she’s got children and I love the fact that she’s putting family first.”

He then went on to say he thinks Will and Kate are both the "saviour of the royal family”.

The housemate has also dubbed Meghan Markle as a “stick in the spokes” of the Royals.

Celebrity Big Brother continues on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.

It comes as confusion was sparked over Princess Kate's first major royal event after surgery.

The Ministry of Defence released tickets claiming the royal, 42, would review a dress rehearsal at Horse Guards Parade for the Trooping of the Colour on June 8.

Event details were published due to Kate's role as Colonel of the Irish Guards, the regiment which is trooping its colour this year.

However, it has now been reported the army is set to remove the claim from their website as it was published without the palace's approval.

In an earlier health update Kensington Palace said the princess would be unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.
