Princess Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith slams Meghan Markle saying Harry was ‘really loved’ before marrying her
KATE Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith slammed Meghan Markle as a “stick in the spokes” of the Royals as he discussed his family ties in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The entrepreneur, 58, added that Kate is now very difficult to get hold of as a busy mum to George, Charlotte and Louis alongside her duties for the Firm.
Housemates Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh were quick to quiz Gary about the Royal deserters after the couple cashed in on their connections.
Gary slammed: “So I have an opinion that Harry was really, really really loved and when they were a threesome, so Kate, William and Harry they got really comfortable together, and then suddenly there’s an extra dynamic that comes in, puts a stick in the spokes and creates so much drama that I don’t genuinely think is there, and rewrites the history, saying they’re unhappy with us and I just don’t think that’s fair.”
He added: “I mean you can’t throw your family under the bus in such a dramatic style, then write books about it and expect to be invited round for Christmas.”
Sharon lived with rocker husband Ozzy Osbourne in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles until the end of last year when the couple moved to Buckinghamshire.

It means she moved in similar circles to Meghan and Harry, who now live in Montecito, California.
She said: “In the beginning, they were very very well received.
“They don’t understand it, but they do love it, you know? But it’s dwindling, dwindling, dwindling and there’s been some deals that they have done that haven't worked well.”
Louis asked how Gary, who is brother to Kate’s mum Carole, has coped with finding fame through his link to Kate and William.
He replied: “I didn’t vote for it, it happened to me, and then suddenly there’s a spotlight on you.
“They call me the buncle! Have you heard of a buncle? Bad uncle, apparently every family has them.”
Gary then admitted: “It’s difficult to get hold of Kate at the best of times, and she’s got children and I love the fact that she’s putting family first.”
The Middletons were said to have read Gary the riot act before his stint in the spy house to ensure he didn’t betray their trust.
But in his only newspaper interview this week Gary told The Sun: “She’s beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside and really is a doting mum . . . so the way the monarchy is moving, it’s family-centric.
“That’s why I got so upset with Harry and Meghan because you don’t reinvent history.
“I’ve got pretty miffed when they had a pop at my beautiful niece who couldn’t say anything for herself.”
Gary added that he was incensed at racism claims against Kate.
In the Dutch translation of his book Endgame, writer Omid Scobie alleged that King Charles and the Princess of Wales had asked Meghan and Harry what colour son Archie’s skin might be.
Gary added: “It’s absolute bull***t and I didn’t hide my feelings very well when I was offered the opportunity to say something, I just thought I’d say it as I saw it. I did think I caught the tone of nation.”
