The 58-year-old said he hoped his niece, the Princess of Wales, would tune in - while admitting his sisterKate’s mum, would be “anxiously” watching.

In a sneak peak for tonight's show, Gary was asked “is it difficult for you, being related to famous people?”

He joked he was called "buncle" - which stands for bad uncle.

The 58-year-old continued: “I didn’t vote for it, it happened to me, and then suddenly there’s a spotlight on you.

“They call me the buncle! Have you heard of a buncle? Bad uncle, apparently every family has them.”

Gary then admits: “It’s difficult to get hold of Kate at the best of times, and she’s got children and I love the fact that she’s putting family first.”

He the goes on to day he thinks Will and Kate are both the "saviour of the royal family”.

Gary last night blasted Prince Harry for throwing his "beautiful" niece under the bus, slamming racism claims against her as “bull***t”.

The royals and Middleton family were said to be terrified when The Sun revealed in January that he was in the reboot of the reality show, which launched last night on ITV1.

This morning royal expert said he believed King Charles would be devastated if Gary spilled secrets.

Angela Levin added that Gary’s appearance on CBB could cause misery for King Charles while he’s recovering from cancer, too.

She told The Sun: “He’s going to be a bit vulnerable, he’s on medication.

"He will feel sorry for Catherine. He will feel pain for her."

Angela said she feared Goldsmith spilling royal secrets could hit the King and monarchy as a whole.

The expert said: “He will say something he shouldn’t say.

“People who don’t believe in the monarchy will say ‘that’s why we don’t want a monarchy - get rid of the monarchy’.”

Angela was almost certain Kate's uncle would stir the pot with his words - whether he meant to or not.

She said: “He has no experience of how to behave with the television cameras around - running day and night.

“For anybody who doesn’t really believe in the royal family will say ‘look at the trash they have’.

“He’s hugely embarrassing. He brings down the face of the family.”
