‘It’s not Christmas, can’t understand why people go so over the top’ people say as mother shows off whopping Easter haul
PARENTS have been left totally divided after a mother shared her whopping Easter haul for her children.
Young mum Mollie Fivey went all out for the little ones, and treated her darlings to not only chocolate Easter eggs and sweets, but also to Easter bunny balloons, a beautiful pastel-coloured balloon garland and toys too.
Posting on social media, Mollie proudly showed off her jaw-dropping Easter display, complete with Happy Easter boxes, a huge selection of sweet treats and chocolate eggs, including Thornton’s, Munchies, Mini Eggs and Celebrations eggs, as well as toys, Easter bonnets and bunny ears.
Mollie had also gifted her little ones a variety of games and toys, including giant crayons, a garden swing and a wet set.
At the end of the short clip, Mollie proudly showed off the impressive Easter table she had set for her children, complete with Easter cups and plates, bunnies and chicks.
Not only this, but the mother even decorated her home for the occasion, and hung bunting on the walls.

Mollie claimed that her children’s Easter treats were organised ‘last minute’, but she wanted to give them a childhood as ‘special’ as they are.
She explained that it cost her roughly £10 to do the balloon arch, and she confirmed: “I’d probably say I spent about £100. Their dad and grandparents [spent] about the same.”
The mother claimed that her children ‘were over the moon’ when they saw the display, and ‘haven’t stopped smiling all morning’.
Mollie also expressed that the look on their faces was ‘priceless’, as she shared that her mother did exactly the same thing for her 23 years ago.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @molliefivey, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed a whopping 79,000 views.
But social media users were totally divided by Mollie’s video.
While some thought her Easter efforts and display were impressive, others weren’t so positive.

Whilst someone else penned: “Absolutely love this! If you have the money to then spoil your children to the max mama.”
However, at the same time, others thought the display was a ‘bit much’, as parents were shocked at Mollie’s ‘over the top’ efforts.
This is excessive and you’ve completely fallen for the consumer trap of Easter

A third commented: “Ridiculous.”
Whilst another parent slammed: “It’s Easter not Christmas, can’t understand why people go so over the top.”
MOLLIE CLAPS BACKS
Mollie was keen to respond to the haters, and shared that her display was for three children.
The mother clapped back and penned: “Because they’re my kids and I can, that’s why.
“I have and always will do this. And no comment will change that.
