I’m a mum of four & fed up with my kids stealing my treats so found a genius solution but some parents say it’s selfish
ARE you a mum who is fed up of buying yourself a little food treat to enjoy once the kids are in bed, only to go to the fridge and realise they've already eaten it?
Well, one mum-of-four named Hannah who had experienced that same scenario time and time again has told how she found the perfect solution - by buying a safe to keep her favourite food items in.
In the clip shared to TikTok (@noturbasicmama), she begins: "Okay, so you know how my children go into my room and steal all my stuff on a regular basis and it infuriates me?
"We also have the same issue when I buy myself treats."
Hannah goes on to say that while she does share the cookies with her children, she "doesn't appreciate" when they dive in and eat every single one before she has a chance to have one for herself.
So, to solve the problem, she snapped up the 'Lockabox One' which she spotted on Amazon for £34.95.

"So basically it slots into your fridge and it's got a little padlock - you set the password on it to whatever digits you want, so it's literally a safe.
"I have got my own cookie safe."
After placing it inside her fridge, she then stocks it up with all of her favourite things.
"I need to get another one, actually, to stop them eating my noodles, because they eat all my noodles as well and that infuriates me," Hannah says.
"Excitement over this was unreal, I'm not going to lie.
"I'd seen it and I was like, 'oh my God!'
"You can also use this in other places - I think it looks quite snazzy, really.
"Putting all my dips in - little f***errs can't get that now, can they? I want my brownies and my cakes in there. Absolutely love it"
"So, yeah, it's my little mum hack for a Sunday!"
The post quickly went viral, garnering a whopping 290k views and several comments from social media users - with very mixed reviews.
Many branded the Amazon purchase "genius" and rushed to snap one up for themselves.
"I need one of these! My girls keep attacking my makeup - I need to lock it all away," wrote one.
A second penned: "Got one from Amazon - it's brilliant!"
A third commented: "This is a mum must-have."
Meanwhile, a fourth praised: "Amazing idea - my kids always taking my treats even tho they have there own."
Another added: "This is a mum must-have!"

Hitting back, she questioned: "Selfish? Because as a mum and a parent you can’t have your own things?!"
