I splashed out on a posh Dunelm airer & it’s a lifesaver… not only do my clothes dry mega fast, there’s zero ironing too

WITH the weather outside looking dismal yet again, it's becoming increasingly difficult to dry clothes indoors.

But one woman has gushed about a new Brabantia airer she picked up from Dunelm, which has legitimately changed her laundry game.

Misha took to TikTok to show off her new purchase, as she admitted it's "actually quite sad" how keen she was to gush about the airer on TikTok.

"We have drying racks but they're just so broken, they're falling apart, we've had them for three or four years," she began.

"So I saw this in Dunelm and I had to purchase."

The first part of the dryer opens up into a triangle, with racks in the middle too - "perfect for socks", Misha noted.

Then she excitedly demonstrated how to use one of the game-changing additions to the airer - a section that pulls up to make a drying rack.

"So, get a hanger, and shirts when they're drying can sit there," she marvelled.

Hanging shirts up to dry on there also means there is less chance you'll have to iron it - as the creases can drop out as it dries.

Then there are arms on either side of the airer that fold out, and you can change the angles of them.

In addition, there are triangles on the side of the airer to put hangers on.

"So clever!" she said.

Mum finds three genius ways to dry clothes without a tumble dryer or take up too much space and one costs £5 from dunelm

Misha then showed how to use the rack as she unloaded her washing.

"Guys look, I'm obsessed," she added.

"I only used the half that I needed.

"Think best purchase I've ever made, really!"

"Best purchase of 2024, am I right?" she captioned the video.

The airer is actually the Brabantia HangOn Drying Rack with Hanging Rod, which is £69 on the Dunelm website.

And people in the comments section were quick to admit they were desperate to get their hands on one of the airers too.

"Never bought something so fast," one wrote.

"Dunelm take my money!" another added.

"I love the hanging bit!! Off to dunelm!" a third said.

As someone else wrote: "That’s actually amazing, omg!"

"This really is quite special," another praised.

"The way I stayed until the end of the video and was gasping of excitement.. I feel old," someone else joked.

But not everyone was convinced, with one person insisting they couldn't justify the price.

"I've never moved so quickly to open the Dunelm app, and I've never moved so fast to close it (after seeing the price)," they wrote.

"Very happy for you though, that is a DREAM!"

To which Misha replied: "Hahahaha she is spenny but she’s gonna be with me for YEARZZ!"

And others used the comments section to share where they'd spotted similar airers for less than £69.

"B&m do pretty much the same thing but it’s white, about £20," one wrote.

"I love mine!"

"There’s a similar one from IKEA!!" another said.

"Doesn’t have the top bit but does have the fold outs."

"Don’t worry," a third added.

"Temu got it - just give it time, the folks there will bring this bad boy at affordable prices for us."
