Britain’s biggest family, the Radfords, share a house makeover update as dad Noel confesses he ‘absolutely hates it’

THE DAD of Britain's biggest family, Noel Radford, has admitted he ''absolutely hates it'' as the bumper brood shared their home makeover.

Like many families across the nation, the Radfords have been keeping busy with revamping their 10-bedroom Morecambe mansion in Lancashire.

As they tackle renovations, the bumper brood - who recently got even bigger - have also been offering a glimpse into their DIY projects on YouTube.

Recently, mum Sue, 49, and her hubby, 53-year-old Noel, posted a YouTube video capturing day two of the home glow-up adventure, proudly showing off the finished kids' bedrooms and upstairs corridor.

Next up in line was the ground floor, with Noel admitting there was a sense of dread for one task in particular.

"Which I absolutely hate, can't stand glossing," he confessed to viewers in the video.

"You're just painting forever and don't seem to be getting anywhere do you, but anyway, it's got to be done so I'll have to do that at some point."

The father-of-22, who runs a successful pie business, also presented an array of paint samples they were considering for the kitchen, ultimately picking a stunning sage green hue.

"We've used it for years especially all the walls, in the hallway, in the kitchen and place like that with all the kids' sticky fingers and things like that," Noel said.

Meanwhile, in the dining room, the couple opted for a chic grey tone - however, soon there was a mini blunder.

Mum Sue, who was recently left fuming as Noel crashed their £40k motorhome in Scotland, took a gamble on a patterned wallpaper for a feature wall.

Unfortunately for the DIY-loving couple, the transformation hit a hiccup when Sue and Noel attempted to layer it over an existing wallpaper.

Noel said: "We've had a bit of a disaster, uh, the paper underneath started coming off when we put this paper on.

"We thought we'd get away with it but it's not working so we're having to take all this off quickly."

After smoothing over the surface, the parents-of-22 proudly shared the major glow-up in their abode, which used to be a former care home.

The huge property's garden boasts an outside bar and cinema, as well as a £27k swimming pool.
