Mum-of-22 Sue Radford transforms ‘millionaire’s mansion’ with DIY but Noel warns mistake means the kids ‘won’t sleep’

THEY recently confirmed they will no longer be moving from their 10-bedroom mansion, so the Radfords are sprucing it up instead.

Sue and Noel, who are parents to Britain’s biggest family with 22 kids, shared how they had spent a weekend decorating their Lancashire house.

In a YouTube video, Sue, who stars in Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting, shared: “Hi guys. I hope you've all had a great weekend. I would imagine it's probably better than what mine's been.

“I am decorating all this weekend.

“We're finally getting around to it because we’ve just been so busy lately: filming, being away at weekends, and things like that.

“We had to restrain ourselves from going away in the camper van this weekend just so we could get on with some jobs.”

More on the Radfords

Sue shared how they were going to tackle one of the boys’ rooms, one of the girls’ rooms and their hallway and stairs.

Although the busy mum initially admitted that they couldn’t decide on the colours, they eventually settled on very bright paint.

They got to work and painted the boys’ room blue and the girls’ bedroom a hot pink shade, while the hallway was a stylish grey.

Sue explained: “Well, we’re going bold and bright in the house, aren’t we?

“We’re going for vibrant, bright colours.”

Noel, who supports the family with his pie shop, joked: “They won’t be able to sleep at night these kids. It’ll be lit up.”

Sue Radford shares reality of being a mum-of-22 on a 12-hour journey as family head off on holiday - but this time they're NOT hitting Disneyland

Despite his hesitation about the colour, Sue was pleased with their hard work.

She added to the camera: “So, we are done up here, we just have to paint this ceiling here, I want to get a new lampshade for there, but besides that, we are pretty much done.

“It looks so much better.

“The paint is still drying there, but it does look much better.

“It looks a lot better, a lot fresher, and just good.”

The family may have been happy with the end result, but they certainly had an eventful time when they were painting.

The family's pooch, Bluebell, ended up covered in pink paint, leaving the family in stitches.

The Radfords were previously looking to move to a more secluded house, but Sue revealed their purchase "fell through" and that the couple had a change of heart.

Following this, the family recently shared how they are starting to embark on the “massive task” of “redecorating the house" - and a fresh lick of paint is just the start of their big plans.

Sue previously took to Instagram to share how the first room they would be tackling would be the lounge.
