‘It’s much easier this way’, reveals expert over hidden hack to make your boot open by itself
DRIVER are only just realising a hidden hack that can make car boots open by itself.
A TikToker, known as "Dongcheshijie" has shared with viewers a neat trick which could make drivers' lives a lot easier.
She started the clip by explaining how car boots that don't open automatically can be frustrating especially if your hands are full.
"It's very troublesome to lift it up every time you put something in the car," she said to her 2.2million followers.
Instead of having to lift it manually the car expert showed how drivers in two simple steps can have their boot opening by itself.
First, you have to "peel off the lining board" found in the top left area of your boot.

After, drivers should be able to find a spring attached to one of three holes.
Cars by default will have the spring "suspended in the first small hole".
In the video, "Dongcheshijie" moved the spring to the second hole.
She then presses the button to open the boot - which now opens automatically.
You can do this trick with Volkswagens, BMWs, MGs and Mercedes motors as well.
However, these weren't the only boot hacks the car expert revealed.
For "Dongcheshijie's" next trick, she showed her viewers how to get out of a locked car.
"Trapped in the car and couldn't get out," she said.
She added: "Don't be anxious."
The expert, who refers to herself as "sister" then proceeded to fold down the rear seats and show her viewers "a switch on the trunk door pannel" which allows you to open the boot from the inside.
The car expert's last tip could end up saving drivers a lot of money, she claims.
She said: "Many drivers don't know that there is a drainage hole in the trunk.
"If you don't clear up the water the car may be scrapped."
The motoring whizz's clip has been viewed more than 74,000 times with her channel gathering a whopping 35.7million likes.
Many commentators went online to thank her for the advice with one summing up many people's feelings by writing: "You're amazing sister."
Another added: "Thank you for the tips."
However, some were quick to point out that "not every car is the same".
And one user wrote: "Jokes on you we own a Lexus RX."
It comes after a car expert revealed how to rest your car's touch screen and avoid a costly trip to the mechanic.
And this motor whizz shared with his viewers the five automatic cars that are selling for under £2,000.
