I haven’t washed my face in over a year – people call me dirty but my skin looks good because I smother it in beef fat
UNLIKE most women, Candice Ray hasn’t washed her face in over a year and says it has “healed” her skin.
Instead, she “lathers” her face in beef fat and honey to draw skincare benefits from naturally-available products.
Posting on social media under Thrive With Candice, the content creator recently gave people an insight into how she looks after her complexion.
She revealed that she “rubs beef fat into her face” and “lathers honey all over it” most days.
Candice claims that the decision to use beef fat and honey in place of “chemical products” has “saved her so much money” - something most people would love.
Another unique aspect of her beauty routine is dry brushing her face, which is more commonly done on the body.

Most would shy away from dragging a brush over their face due to risk of micro-tears or pulling the skin, but Candice says it's a good way to exfoliate the delicate skin.
Before she started making concoction in the kitchen, she claims her skin was “oily, dry, clogged pores and had red small inflamed zits”.
She has experienced criticism online due to her organic lifestyle choices, with trolls calling her “dirty” and “disgusting".
One troll penned that “rubbing dead animal fat on your body is disgusting”.
“We eat them, make clothes out of some,” Candice replied.
“It’s a part of naturally living.
“Plus, it’s better than applying chemically made skincare products.”
She also believes fluoride is “toxic” and brushes her teeth with a toothpaste made of natural ingredients.
"I was always convinced that this, like, elaborate long skincare routine and all these fancy products was what was going to cure my acne and heal my skin,” Candice said in one TikTok video.
“"But it was actually doing quite the opposite.
"In fact, cleansing my skin every day, morning and night, was actually destroying my skin's moisture barrier."
