I haven’t washed my face for a WHOLE year – trolls call me gross but my skin’s so glowy thanks to rubbing on animal fat
A WOMAN has revealed that she hasn't put a cleanser near her face for over year - and it seems to be working wonders.
Candice, from the US, revealed that she hasn't cleansed her face in an entire year or used any other skincare products in a bid to cure her acne.
Sharing her results on social media, the brunette beauty revealed that her acne had completely disappeared after trying out the stripped-back routine.
"It's been one year since I washed my face and it's healed my skin," she claimed.
Candice then showed off pictures of her blotchy and acne-ridden skin from a year ago.
"I was always convinced that this, like, elaborate long skincare routine and all these fancy products was what was going to cure my acne and heal my skin.

"But it was actually doing quite the opposite.
"In fact, cleansing my skin every day, morning and night, was actually destroying my skin's moisture barrier."
The young woman has since ditched the soaps and lotions - opting for splashing her face with water to cleanse it and use a dry brush to exfoliate dead skins and scarring.
Candice revealed that she regularly uses animal fat if she needs a deeper cleanse when wearing makeup.
She also added that it doubles up as a natural moisturiser.
"I'll apply some beef tallow if it's really cold outside to moisturise," she added.
Despite the young woman swearing by the routine to get her skin looking the best it ever has - some people were grossed out by the idea of not using a cleanser.
The clip has since gone viral over on her TikTok account @thrivewithcandice with more than 5million views and 310k likes.
And many more were even more grossed out by the idea of slathering animal fat onto their face.
One person wrote: "Is there an alternative to the Beef tallow? I really don't want dead animal on my face?"
Another commented: "Same! When I stopped washing my face so much, my acne and oiliness disappeared. Now, only once per day with oil-based cleanser."
"I'm the exact opposite. Finding a good cleanser and using simple skincare products has slowly healed my VERY sensitive skin (its so bad that when I sweat my face burns)," penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: "My skin is always better when I do absolutely nothing to it (except moisturise - and wash after makeup)."
"Your skin literally looks like a filter! I’m interested to try this,” claimed a fifth.
