I’ve saved £5,050 thanks to the 100-day envelope challenge – it was so fun and I’ve even paid for my dream holiday

In a clip shared to TikTok (@budgetwithmilly), a savvy woman named Milly claims she managed to save an impressive £5,050 using the '100-day envelope challenge.'

"I recently ordered this 100 envelope-saving challenge where you can save a total of £5,050 when you finish," she says.

"I thought it'd be a great way to start the year to save up for my dream holiday.

"So i'm going to start with the biggest amount which is £100 - I thought I have it now and I'd rather get it out the way first.

"I also added some tape to make it secure and safe."

And for those interested in how it works, Milly explains: "You put the £ amount to the number on the pockets."

The numbers range from 1-100, so for example, 1 would be £1 and 50 would be £50 - and what's more is it comes with a tracker so you can mark off your process as you go."

Milly added: "I don’t know how I can live without this."

"Once all the 100 pockets are fill you would've saved £5,050 at the end.

"Just think of all the things you can do with that money.

"Saving doesn't have to be boring and this was such a fun challenge or me to save for my dream vacation."

It wasn't long before the post went viral, garnering a very impressive 852k views and several comments.

"My next purchase," wrote one.

A second penned: "Oh wow how did you do that I cant even save a penny forever paying bills."

A third commented: "Well done I had one a week ago how long did it take you to save."

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Wow, that is dedication, see so many of these but never this full."
