Who are Denise and Ciaran Byrne?

Denise and Ciaran Bryne are the couple behind the hugely successful wellness and journaling brand - The Head Plan.

According to The Head Plan’s official website, Denise is a qualified life coach who is ‘’passionate about helping people achieve their life goals, through the power of journaling and visualisation’’.

Prior to starting their business, Denise and certified coach Ciaran celebrated their relationship and officially married.

However, after they returned from their honeymoon as newlyweds, Ciaran was diagnosed with leukaemia.

After receiving the devastating news, Ciaran eventually recovered and with a new realisation of the importance of life, the couple founded The Head Plan in 2020 - which they will now be presenting to the Dragons.

What is The Head Plan?

The Head Plan is a successful wellness and journaling brand which was created ‘’to help others become the best version of themselves’’.

The practice of journaling consists of a person writing down their thoughts, feelings and goals in order to visualise them and understand them more clearly.

Following the brand’s launch in 2020, The Head Plan has enjoyed great success and has turned over nearly £3 million, as well as collaborating with bestselling author and manifestation coach Roxie Nafousi.

In addition to this, the Wellness brand is also sold in over 50 countries, has attracted over 100,000 customers and now features over 20 products, including best-selling journals, pens, markers, and even more accessories.

When asked why The Head Plan was founded, Denise explained: ‘’We created The Head Plan because we don’t think it should take a catastrophic moment to reflect and make big changes in your life. 

‘’Goal setting, reflection, personal development, and mindfulness should be a daily part of everyone’s life, not just something you do on January 1st.’’

When is The Head Plan on Dragons Den?

Entrepreneurs Denise and Ciaran will be feature on Dragons' Den on Thursday, February 8, 2024, with the show airing from 8pm on BBC One.

The couple are appearing on the popular pitching programme as they believe that their brand has both the power and potential to go global.

Discussing the couple’s TV appearance, Denise said: ‘’Dragons’ Den was an incredible opportunity and next step for us in hopefully garnering the support from some of our biggest inspirations in business and ultimately securing the right partner to help us to grow in the UK and beyond.’’

Viewers will watch them pitch to the famous Dragons - Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies, and Steven Bartlett.

Emma Grede is also one of two guest stars on this year's Dragons' Den.
