According to The Star, she said: "I'm thrilled to share the journey of Acu Seeds on Dragons' Den and shed light on the transformative power of Chinese Medicine, particularly ear seed therapy.
"My own recovery from ME through these methods motivated me to create Acu Seeds and offer these benefits to others seeking holistic wellness."
What does Giselle Boxer's company Acu Seeds make?
Acu Seeds sells ear seeds, which are a product that has been credited with supporting a variety of health concerns, including anxiety, stress, headaches, digestion, immunity, and focus.
According to the Acu Seeds website, ear seeds are a needle-free form of auriculotherapy, which is the "stimulation of specific points of the ear to address physical and emotional health concerns."
It has been compared to reflexology, a technique that applies gentle pressure to your feet or hands, but for the ears.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine ear seeds were made from the flowering herb vaccaria.
Acu Seeds, however, makes a modern version using gold or silver plated seeds that attach to the with a clear adhesive sticker.
The seeds look like just earrings, allowing customers to wear them for any occasion.
Boxer was inspired to start Acu Seeds after she was diagnosed with ME, also known as myalgic encephalomyelitis.
According to the NHS ME, or chronic fatigue syndrome, is a long-term condition with a wide range of symptoms, the most common of which is extreme tiredness.
Other symptoms can include trouble sleeping and problems with thinking, memory and concentration.
The condition is more common in women, and often develops when sufferers are between their mid-20s and mid-40s.
Boxer was left "mostly housebound" by ME and was unable to walk far.
Shockingly, she was also told by doctors that she would never recover, work again or have children.
Luckily, Boxer made a full recovery and has credited ear seeds with the changes in her health.
She has also said that she used her diet, acupuncture and Chinese herbs to return to feeling her best.
A 24k gold plated ear seed kit on Acu Seeds costs £30, while a silver plated kit costs the same.
There is also a handy monthly subscription service for customers.
Ear seeds are applied using tweezers, and can be stimulated numerous times throughout the day by being gently massaged in a circular motion.
According to the Acu Seeds website, seeds may be worn for "a maximum of five days" and cannot be reused.
