Max Turner makes shock discovery about Lauren Bolton’s mystery boyfriend

VIEWERS have been concerned for teenaged Lauren Bolton's well-being as she is romantically involved with a mystery man.

However, next week in Coronation Street, her former boyfriend Max Turner makes a massive discovery about the stranger.

Who could Lauren Bolton (played by Cait Fitton) be spending her time with?

In scenes airing next week on ITV, the wayward teen may have no other choice but to open up about her new relationship.

It all begins when David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) is impressed as his son Max Turner (Paddy Bever) practises his hairdressing skills on Lauren.

Later, Max invites Lauren for tea, but when his girlfriend Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos) suggests she brings her boyfriend along too, Lauren’s smile fades.

In the café, Sabrina then quizzes Lauren about her boyfriend before suggesting they should all meet up.

Unfortunately for her, Lauren’s unease is evident and Sabrina tells Max it’s obvious she’s lying.

Max tentatively asks Lauren why she always clams up whenever they mention her boyfriend.

This leads to Lauren fighting back tears as she orders Max out of the café. 

While Max has no luck trying to get to the bottom of things, Sabrina is determined to get the truth out of Lauren.

In later scenes, back in the café, Sabrina quizzes Lauren about her boyfriend once again.

What will Lauren tell her?

Will she be telling the truth or causing trouble once again?

Lauren's stint in the cobbles has been nothing short of tumultuous as she was initially revealed to be the daughter of a racist activist who was part of Griff Reynolds' far-right group.

While the storyline ended with Griff's arrest, Lauren has since been trying to get back on to the straight and narrow, which is no easy feat.

After pining over Max Turner, who has moved on from their relationship with Sabrina, Lauren claimed she had a secret boyfriend.

The latter has been showering her with gifts to show his devotion but Lauren has yet to reveal who she is romantically involved with.

Viewers of the Manchester-based drama have a tendency to speculate what's to come for Corrie residents and, understandably, Lauren's cryptic situation has been the talk of social media.

The secrecy around Lauren's boyfriend has pushed soap fans to believe that she could be involved with a well-known resident - Damon Hay.

However, the thug himself decides to rekindle his relationship with Sarah Barlow (Tina O'Brien), after having an affair with her in 2023.

But who could Lauren be involved with?

Max and Sabrina invite Lauren to join them for lunch in the bistro with Sabrina's brother Gav.

Surprisingly, Lauren reveals that she’s dumped her boyfriend.

Later on, Max watches on with interest as Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) chats to Lauren on the street and sensing there’s something bothering her, puts a comforting hand on her shoulder.

Could Max's former arch nemesis be involved with Lauren?
