My 3-ingredient DIY hair growth serum will help you get long locks like mine – it’s also great for adding shine
A HAIR wizard has mastered how to grow her mane and add extra shine to her strands in the process.
Her fast-working potion only requires a few ingredients.
"The DIY hair serum that will give you results like this - only three ingredients," said the woman behind (@beautylibrary28).
The brunette showed off her healthy strands that almost reached her waist.
She was now ready to help others get the long locks they've been lusting after.
Her first ingredients included half a tablespoon of flaxseed and one cup of water that she boiled on the stove until achieving the thicker consistency she desired.
Next up she advised immediately sifting everything and then transferring the leftover gel to a squeeze bottle.
"Let it cool down," she said.
She then added a half teaspoon of her final ingredient, jojoba oil, to the bottle while filling the rest with one-third of the gel.
Her wesentlich jojoba oil sells for $37 on Amazon and is described as containing nourishing properties from vitamins A and E.
In addition to applying the serum to your stands, the oil is also safe for body care and remains a popular ingredient in products such as shampoos and creams.
The oil had plenty of glowing reviews.
"I'm pleasantly surprised. I love the oil. Thank you!" wrote one purchaser.
"I'm very satisfied," said another buyer.
All that was left to do was shake up her magic strand growing concoction.
"Use this as a second leave-in before blow drying," she said.
She could be seen adding the serum to her wet hair and then again before her heatless blowout.
Her DIY mix also wasn't just a one-trick potion.
"It's also perfect for refreshing your hair and for adding shine," she said.
Her fans were already inspired to get their own hair-growing game on.
"Need to try this!" said one follower.
"What about caster oil?" asked another viewer.

"Castor oil? I personally find it too sticky and thick for this recipe. But feel free to experiment with different oils and share your thoughts with me though," she replied.
She advised keeping the concoction refrigerated for future uses.
