Shirley Ballas reveals behind the scenes Masked Singer transformation as she turns into Rat
SHIRLEY Ballas shared a selection of behind the scenes clips from her time on the Masked Singer after it was revealed she was the person behind Rat.
Fans of the ITV show were gobsmacked when the Strictly judge, 63, was the famous face behind the animal character.
Today Shirley shared some footage from her time on the programme.
Some included her practising her performance at home, trying on her costume and dancing in her living room.
She wrote on the Instagram post: "The making of Rat 🐀❤️ … from the very first time becoming little Ratty, practicing with a box on my head, to the big unmasking last night, take a look into my journey on the @maskedsingeruk.

Last night Shirley performed Nelly The Elephant, but it wasn't enough to be saved by the judges.
After she whipped off the mask, she said: told the panel as they gasped: "I was very flattered actually because I just don’t sing at all and some of the people that you were saying, was like Wow! It was one of the best times of my life. It was way out of my comfort zone and I totally loved it.
"I would say it's one of the best times in my life," Shirley added.
"I enjoyed every minute of it, it was way out of my comfort zone, I absolutely loved it."
