I’m a 32JJ & have 2 days to find a work Christmas party dress, my order was a flop, I had to hold it up to stop flashing

A CURVY fashionista has been left panicking about what to wear after giving herself just two days to find a formal dress.

She was on the verge of tears after ordering a selection of dresses from PrettyLittleThing for her work Christmas party.

Tanesa (@tanesaluvluv_) has almost 9,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares outfit inspiration for women who have a fuller bust.

The self-proclaimed “big biddie baddie” took to the social media platform to reveal the outcome of her latest shopping haul.

She explained that her workplace had a black-tie dress code for their annual Christmas party.

Silver print maxi dress

Tanesa started her fashion haul by trying on a black foil print bandeau maxi dress which cost $22.50.

The PLT frock is sold in both black and white, with sizes ranging from XS to L.

“On the site, it looked like everything that I thought I wanted, but I guess I didn’t read the material,” Tanesa said.

“This is not the material that I expected. It’s literally like mesh.

“I don’t know if that’s the right word but it’s see-through and doesn’t feel like a very nice material.

“I think it looks better in the picture than it feels.

“The back is not zipped up, it’s totally open. I’m trying to hold it up to not flash you.

“It just doesn’t work. It’s not very stretchy, it’s a very stiff kind of material.

"I was really hoping that this was going to be the one.”

Tanesa held up a pair of silver strappy heels that she would’ve worn if the dress had met her expectations.

Animal print frock

The style-enthusiast changed into a black zebra print midi dress with matching gloves which cost $50.

She laughed to herself as she began to explain why she was equally unimpressed with it.

“I’m sorry to say this but this one doesn’t work either,” she said.

“I got a size 16 [US 12] in all of these which is usually the size I would wear for tops.

“When I get dresses in size 18 [US 14] and 20 [US 16] in the UK they don’t work because even if the bust fits, which it usually doesn't… then everywhere else is big so that’s also one of my struggles.

“So yes this concludes the Christmas dresses I bought.

“If you have any recommendations for where I can get a dress in two days please let me know.”

She captioned the post, writing: “I now have two days and all I can do is laugh guys [crying].”

She included the hashtags  #plthaul, #curvyproblems, and #bigbiggiestruggles.

The video was watched thousands of times and received many likes from people who were able to relate to the sizing problem.

A top commenter suggested a different clothing retailer, however, Tanesa confessed she had already tried it without any luck.

“I’d say check Oh Polly, I find their stuff better quality and/or double layered,” they wrote.

“Oh Polly has NOTHING for me girl these buzzums cannot fit in that,” Tanesa replied.
