I have nothing to wear on NYE, my Oh Polly haul looked so different on my size 10 pear-shaped body compared to the model
A FASHIONISTA was left disappointed after attempting to find the perfect outfit to wear on New Year’s Eve.
She ordered four different black outfits from the women’s clothing brand Oh Polly in the hopes of finding one that flattered her size 10 frame.
Grace (@gracetutty) has garnered over 430,000 followers on TikTok, where she champions body positivity and shares style inspiration.
The 21-year-old, who lives in London, took to the social media platform to rate items in her shopping haul.
“Oh Polly dresses on the model vs a size 10 body: NYE edition,” read the text over the video.
Sparkly mini dress
She started the haul by sharing a photo of a model on the Oh Polly website wearing a sequin embellished mini dress.
The off-the-shoulder a-line dress in black was $83 and came in sizes 0 to 14, but it has since sold out.
Grace looked unimpressed as she gave the dress a thumbs down and rated it just 3/10 on her svelte figure.
Romper
She then shared a snap of an Oh Polly model wearing a cap-sleeve romper with a square neck.
It comes in both black and blue for $57, with sizes ranging from 0 to 14.
Shoppers have given it a perfect five-star rating on the brand’s website and penned glowing reviews about its “great quality.”
However, Grace wasn’t wowed by it as she posed from different angles to show how it looked on her pear-shaped body and scored it 6/10.
Little black dress
The trendsetter then showed a photo of a model on the Oh Polly website wearing a square-neck long-sleeve mini dress.
The $62 LBD has currently sold out in all sizes except four and six.
Despite some customer reviews saying that it was quite short, it still managed to achieve a five-star rating.
Grace stood awkwardly in the figure-hugging dress which had a high split and gave it just a 2/10 rating.
Jumpsuit
Grace finished the shopping haul by sharing a photo of a model wearing a strapless jumpsuit.
The flared hem jumpsuit comes in black, blue, tan, and ivory for around $62.
Currently, it is only in stock in sizes ranging from two to 12 and has a five-star rating from satisfied customers.
Grace styled it with a mini handbag and sunglasses but still gave it the lowest rating of all the outfits at just 1/10.
“Well this order was a fail [crying]. Trying on @OhPolly outfits for New Year’s Eve on a size 10 body,” she captioned the post.
She added that she felt like she had “nothing to wear” and thought ordering four options would’ve guaranteed at least one outfit.
“I just hated the fit, feel like they hugged me in the wrong places. Maybe with a size up or a tan and hair down it would be better,” she said.
The video was watched by 353,000 people and racked up over 12,000 likes.
Oh Polly was among those who commented trying to reassure Grace that she looked good.
“We think you look absolutely unreal,” the brand wrote.
Other viewers chimed in admitting they were “confused” why Grace had considered the haul a fail.
“To be honest this made me run to the store because it looks so good on you,” one person wrote.
“Omg I hate Oh Polly clothes at the moment, I find they fit badly in all the wrong places (but you do look amaze in them all, love the first),” another said

“I think you needed to size down for the first one but the others are exactly as on the models,” a third commented.
“You must be seeing something very different because you look AMAZING! I’m a size 10 and I have a few of these and love my body in them,” another added.
