In her video, Kim (@louisianawoman1) demonstrated how she added creativity to her grandson's candy packages.

"Mini lollipops for my grandson’s class," the TikToker captioned her clip.

Kim showed her followers how to make the candy-filled lollipop packages ahead of Valentine's Day.

For her first step, she laid out red paper plates and placed a small amount of shredded crepe paper on each.

Next, Kim filled the plate with affordable candy that she purchased from Dollar Tree and Walmart.

The selection included Fun Dip, mini pops, chocolate love hearts, and Sour Punch licorice twists.

Once she had stacked the candy, Kim placed another plate over the pile.

She secured the candy in between the plates by taping them together.

To create a lollipop appearance, she also taped a plastic balloon stick to the back of each plate set.

Next, Kim folded wrapping paper with a love heart design over the plates.

Finally, she layered a plastic wrap over the homemade candy gift basket.

Kim tied the plastic with a love heart print ribbon for a finishing touch.

Showing three finished lollipops, the grandmother revealed she had 17 more to make.

Her followers shared their thoughts on the homemade candy sets in the comments section.

"I just finished 24 of these, thank you for the amazing idea," wrote one impressed viewer.

"I’m going to try and do this for my son’s class. Fingers crossed, I’m not a craft person but it looks pretty easy, thanks for sharing," said another TikTok user.

"Thank you for sharing this is a wonderful idea. I’m going to do this for my daughters," commented a third person.
